Well, its almost August 1st, a month that for me (besides also including my birthday,) marks the end of summer. Stores change their summer clothes out for their fall clothes, classes begin once again and even the weather starts to shift. However, with the NBA season not starting till October, it would seem as though the land of free agency would still be as busy as ever, teams trying to scoop up the remaining "big shots" and players trying to make sure their careers are still going in ...

Sadly things haven't picked up much in the land of NBA free agency, at least in terms of official signings, however, there are always rumors floating about (and interestingly enough, mostly about my Chicago Bulls)...

Hey everyone! Before I get into my usual free agency stuff, I just wanted to share something with you. Yesterday I received an email asking to post an entry about this year's second annual Sprite Slam Dunk Showdown. Basically, Lebron James (as clearly partnered with Sprite) is reaching out to all the ballers out there and asking them to submit videos of themselves dunking. Here is the video:
