Joakim Noah was fined $15,000 after his profanity-laced tirade aimed at officials during the Chicago Bulls' 99-70 loss at the Sacramento Kings on Monday night.

Noah, who was automatically ejected in the third quarter after picking up his second technical foul, unleashed a burst of invective anger on the game's three referees, pointing at each individually and screaming "F--- you!" before being escorted off the floor Monday night.

Noah apologized for his actions after the game, which was the Kings' first victory in eight games.

"I'm really disappointed," Noah said. "I shouldn't have acted that way. I apologize. I'm sorry to all three referees out there. They're out there trying to do their jobs, and I should never have said the things that I said."

Noah, who picked up his first technical less than three minutes earlier, earned the second after reacting to a foul call.

"I hope they accept my apology, and I hope I can move on from this," he said.

Kirk Hinrich is sure he will play next season but is not sure where and for how long. The Bulls' guard says he is hoping to stay with Chicago this season despite being in trade speculation.

"I'm happy here," Hinrich said. "I came back here because I wanted to be here. I still like our team. I get along great with the guys. We've been playing well lately so I just want to keep that going."

The Golden State Warriors recently expressed interest in Hinrich, but they eventually acquired Jordan Crawford and MarShon Brooks from the Boston Celtics.

"It's out of your control so you just keep going and trying to take care of business and focus on what we're doing here," Hinrich said. "It's not the first time my name has been in trade rumors. It's something I'm kind of used to and don't read too much into them."

Tom Thibodeau responded on Saturday to a report by the New York Daily News that stated there is word the head coach could already have an agreement to become the Knicks' next coach.

"That stuff is ridiculous," Thibodeau said. "First I was being traded. … I couldn't care less about that stuff. I love the fighting spirit of this team. That's all I'm thinking about.''

Kirk Hinrich is drawing interest in trade talks with the Chicago Bulls as they appear settled on giving up on a playoff push.

The Golden State Warriors have expressed serious interest in trading for Hinrich.

Hinrich is making approximately $4 million in the final season of his contract.

The Warriors are searching for a point guard to backup Stephen Curry, and are also in the mix for Andre Miller.

The Bulls remain confident that Derrick Rose will bounce back from his latest knee surgery and will be "a great player" again, according to executive vice president John Paxson.

"We do believe that Derrick's going to be a great player again," Paxson said during Tuesday's news conference. "We can't promise anybody that, but that's a belief of ours because we know Derrick well enough and we think he's going to work hard enough. But the challenge always is building a team and putting the group of players together -- in this case it might be more about building with Derrick, as opposed to saying, 'OK, Derrick, you got to shoulder all the burden.' But that's OK. Because I've seen plenty of teams win in this league, too, at a very high level, going about it that way."

Paxson understands some fans may not be happy with the organization's decision to deal All-Star forward Luol Deng, but he is confident the Bulls can retool their roster, instead of rebuilding it completely. What remains to be seen is if they will rebuild it completely around Rose given the fact he has played in only 50 games in the past three seasons.

"There's an unknown there," Paxson said. "I think if you ask Derrick he's going to tell you, as he did in his press conference, don't count him out. And we certainly don't. We also know that the challenge for us over the years has been to continue to find playmakers to go with Derrick. Let's face it: The league is a superstar league, in terms of guys at the top of your roster. That's how the teams that have a couple great players are usually the teams at the end of the day that win. But there's also a team-building component that I think is underrated and undervalued. You look at the Indiana Pacers right now, they've done a terrific job in team building. They've done some through the draft, they've done some through signings, things like that."

Ron Adams was let go by the Chicago Bulls as Tom Thibodeau's top assistant last June in an unusual move that seemed to highlight a discord between the front office and coaching staff.

Adams had close working relationships with several players, including Derrick Rose.

"It's still a bit mystifying to me," Adams said. "And I don't understand it. And if the intent was to be hurtful to me and my family, it succeeded."

Adams has worked for seven teams over 21 years in the NBA and is now with the Boston Celtics.

The Chicago Tribune reported previously that Gar Forman took exception to Adams voicing displeasure over certain personnel moves.

Adams confirmed this, saying he was told he "made a disparaging remark about the organization outside the walls of the Berto Center."
