Wow, this summer has been brutal especially on this board. It's all I can do to come here anymore because it's degenerated into an absolute complain fest. I mean with every player under the microscope for months it's gotten really bad. Apparently we have a garbage front line from what I've been reading and if Roy doesn't average 75 points per game this team is doomed.

Also if we had only drafted the Kevin's, both Love and Durant we'd obviously be winning multiple rings each and every year and only fielding 2 players.

For god sake people this is a blazer fan forum not a drunken meander down apathy lane, heading towards complete depressive meltdown way.

Man up people for god sake this team is good, we have the guys we have until Cho pulls the trigger on a trade so lets support the guys for crying out loud. Over analysis of players weakness should be saved for after the fail next season. That's what we need to save our meltdown juice for.

Man, what if Cho holds out (stupid) and doesn't end up trading Rudy? I can't remember Rudy's latest stance. Would he still lean towards staying in Spain and effectively become a no-show in Portland?

Get this -- Greg Oden is still only 22. He still has the size, the strength, and the raw skills to be a dominating big man on both ends of the floor. He just needs a little experience… and two good kneecaps.

Oden has a few tiny weaknesses here and there. He gets into foul trouble, he still could use some more mobility, he still needs work on diversifying his game offensively. But the kid also has the talent and the work ethic to overcome any weaknesses he might have.

Three years ago, we all thought Greg Oden could grow into a basketball legend.

And honestly, he still could. Just wait until he gets that chance.
