Mark Jackson rules. Best wishes, good luck.

Hope he gets a gig he wants. Thanks for broadcasting for us, you will be remembered!

Steve Kerr, going out there, hiring a guy with no coaching experience? You've GOT to get someone who can take advantage of Steve Nash and Shaq before their bodies break down. What are you doing? Steve Kerr, you're better than that.

--------------------
Here's what one Collins teammate said the other night:

"This trade sucks. It really sucks (bleep), man. And it really sucks the way it happened. For all the guy has given this team, they shouldn't have done it this way. I'm not saying the next guy can't help, I'm just saying Twin was a chemistry guy. We have lousy chemistry, and he's the only one who gives us some, so tell me how this makes sense? He's definitely one of those guys who is going to be missed with all the changes we're going to go through."

And then, after a long pause, there was this incredulous muttering:

"And we're trading him for a guy who was just suspended?"

I read that Terry Porter got the first interview for the phoenix job.

The thing I'd like to know is who's gonna replace Jackson on the Nets announcing team. Is it gonna be just more Spanarkel? If that's the case, I'd like to see Raftery do some games as well. We need a guy who's already familiar with the organization and doesn't need a "breaking in" period.

And how exactly does a former NBA player with no prior coaching experience on the pro level get so many considerations for head coaching positions. Totally unreal. I guess all those games of outspoken criticism of the Nets this season did him some good.

Steve Kerr's plan was to replace D'Antoni and Marion with Mark Jackson and Shaq?

That guy is a genius!

I can’t say goodbye without thanking the fans. I can’t recall a time in my career where I didn’t feel embraced by all of you. Los Angeles, San Diego, Oakland and Miami - whether it was at home or on the road, you were all so supportive over the years. But I have to say that my time with the Mets wouldn’t have been the same without the greatest fans in the world. One of the hardest moments of my career, was walking off the field at Shea Stadium and saying goodbye. My relationship with you made my time in New York the happiest of my career and for that, I will always be grateful.

I second that.

Best combination is:

1) Ian and Mark
2) Marv and Mark
3) Ian and Tim
4) Ian and Jim
5) Chris and Tim
6) Chris and Mark (did this combo ever happen?)
7) Marv and Jim
8) Chris and Jim

John Minko is just bad, bad enough to pull any pair with him in it off the list.

Lol that is disturbing.

The lack of experience on Jackson's part should indeed trouble the Suns.

I lost a bet with Lavalamp.

This will expire July 23. Hey though, I'm Manning (pun intended) up at least.

Ian and Mark are definitely the best duo. The season would have been a lot harder to watch, if not for their great announcing chemistry.

Indeed. I'd go nuts if I had to watch every game with Spanarkel's giggling ohmy.gif
