Fifa has definitely stepped it up, much better in the past couple of years. Supposedly they have revamped the whole system, tiq.
Did EA Canada also add better physics into FIFA as they did for NHL? I know in NHL 11 they used tech from the Friday Night Fights games... Or whatever fighting game EA makes.
Anything physics wise.. Like the guys arms flailing if he falls, when he gets tackled, the way you juggle the ball.. In NHL 11 they made hits better, faceoffs better... FIFA Soccer 11 Gametrailers
New additions to Fifa 11 (I have compiled this list so I know I have missed something) - Handballs have been added to Fifa 11 which can be toggled on and off. - You can now install custom chants which can be accessed via Xbox Marketplace or installed through a USB drive. The game will also come with preset chants for specific teams/regions. - Changes from the game range from retiming slide tackle animations to creating different sock lengths.
How's manager mode? That seems to be my biggest concern seeing as how that's where I spend 95 percent of time. Its been the same for the past 3 years and its been dull. After year 3 Fifa gets boring.
Seems like everything is more fluid. the game feels so real.... but the game this year hinges on MM in my opinion.... they better have figured out the problems and glitches
They don't have Manager Mode in the demo, there is only Exhibition mode and the halfs are three minutes so you barely get a chance to play. You can also try out 'Be a Goalkeeper' mode in the Arena. Just press SELECT and choose 'Select Sides'. I love the way they visually show you the positioning you need and the controls are fairly easy. I'm sure there are secrets to being a really good 'keeper because some of the shots Kaka makes are impossible to save. By default, you are Petr Cech which isn't a bad place to start. I have no idea what is considered a good save-rate. They have a counter at the top right that tracks Kaka's misses (shots that didn't require a save), his goals, and the 'keeper's saves. Is a 90% save-rate above average or what (10 saves to every goal?) In Exhibition Mode, you really start to see where this game flourishes. Some of the players are just picture-perfect. You don't even need a close-up of the player to recognize who it is, I wonder if this carries across every league. The opening cinematics to the game are much better and seem more realistic. You can hear the fans chanting in the background and the usual commentators droning on about how evenly matched the teams are and high scoring this game is going to be. The finishing in the game is superb. Every goal looks realistic. There is no shooting with the wrong foot, random shots with the outside of the boot (unless you make it happen), or awful goalkeeping errors. The tackling has also been brought up a notch. Using the slide tackle isn't always a slide to the ground. The player can now lunge in on the ball and it can be more effective than sliding in with two feet. The passing is also much better than previous games. You can actually aim where you want the ball with the exact weight to make your striker's run on to the ball. I can't think of anything negative right now. I'll have to keep playing. You can only play as Real Madrid, Leverkusen, Barcelona, Juventus, Chelsea, and Lyon. I believe you can unlock Arsenal by doing all this bullshit through Facebook but I'd rather just wait until the final game is released.
Never played football manager. anyone bored enough to tell me the difference between this game and the other two?
Pre-order for FM is now open on Steam. Agoo, would you want to start a league with me and test it out? I've always wanted to give it a try.
It is an online game platform and one of the best around. http://store.steampowered.com/about/ Valve created this client who are famous for Half-Life, Counter-Strike, Team Fortress and numerous other titles. I always buy FM on on Steam...
