My "embrace of birtherism"? I'm glad Barry finally released a layered .pdf file of his supposed "abstract" birth certificate. Now, can we vet his college records and medical records? Chuck Schumer demands we do so!

What would you call it? If you haven't embraced it, you've at the very least been avidly licking its scrotum.

The metamorphisis never reached its end.

Yet, I'm still intrigued by the surreal and bizarre press conference today, where our brave President emailed his BC to reporters, and then talked of "silly" things superceding serious times right before jetting off to the Oprah show with his wife.

    Consider the source.

    from wiki:

    Price fixing controversy

In April 2011, P&G was fined 211.2m euros by the European Commission for price fixing cartel in Europe along with Unilever, who had fine of 104m euro, and Henkel. Though the fine was set higher at first, it was dicounted by 10% after P&G and Unilever admitted running the cartel. As the provider of the tip-off leading to investigations, Henkel was not fined.[21]

[edit] Toxic shock syndrome and tampons

Toxic shock syndrome (TSS) is a disease caused by strains of the bacteria Staphylococcus aureus. Most people have these bacteria living in their bodies as harmless commensals in places such as the nose, skin, and vagina. The disease can strike anyone, not only women, but the disease is often associated with tampons. In 1980, 814 menstrual-related TSS cases were reported; 38 deaths resulted from the disease. The majority of women in these cases were documented as using super-absorbent synthetic tampons, particularly the Rely tampon created by Procter & Gamble.[22] The Rely tampon was so super-absorbent that one by itself could in fact hold one woman's entire menstrual period flow. Unlike other tampons made of cotton and rayon, Rely used carboxymethylcellulose and compressed beads of polyester for absorption. The materials used in Rely were causing an increase in the thickness of fluid inside the vagina, resulting in more toxins being released.

The slogan used by Procter & Gamble for the product was "Rely. It even absorbs the worry."

In the summer of 1980 the Centers for Disease Control released a report explaining how these bacterial mechanisms were leading to TSS. They also stated that the Rely tampon was associated with TSS more than any other brand of tampon. In September 1980, Procter & Gamble voluntarily recalled its Rely brand of tampons from the market and agreed to provide for a program to notify consumers. Since the 1980s, reported cases of TSS have dramatically decreased.[23]

    [edit] Other products

In December 2005 the Pharmaceutical division of P&G was involved in a dispute over research involving its osteoporosis drug Actonel. The case was discussed in the media[24] and more recently on a blog[25] of one of the researchers involved.

In October 2007, a class action lawsuit was filed in the State of Georgia alleging that many users of Crest Pro-Health mouthwash, with the active ingredient Cetylpyridinium chloride, suffered stained teeth and loss of their sense of taste as a result.[26] Procter & Gamble contends that these side effects occur in only three percent of users.[26] The suit seeks to include disclosure warning users of these side effects on product packaging.

Too bad you were never able to become a toad. You gave it 100% effort, though, and that's what counts.

Larry O'Donnell appears to be objective and rational.

One (the sample that we know is real) is yellowed by the age of centuries, while the other looks recent, like it was made as recently as the 1960s. Clear forgery.

So we are judging Obama on the color of his birth certificate?

    That's racist.

Duh...Jeremy Irons stole it while Bruce Willis was running around with Sam Jackson, and it's at the bottom of the Hudson right now.

The real story is the reason for the timing of the release of the birth certificate. The White House does control when it releases information. Bad news is released on Fridays to blunt the 24/7 news cycle. This kind of thing is a distraction for something else going on.

Leon Panetta is moving from CIA to head of the defense dept., while Patraeus is going to head the CIA. Obama neatly tricked MSNBC, CNN, and similar outlets into talking about the birth certificate. Otherwise they would have been talking about how General Betray Us would be getting a promotion.

Or maybe it was because Trump was in New Hampshire testing the waters to make a run at the GOP nomination. No sound bites from Trump about how China is unfairly manipulating their currency (which he did talk about), instead it was questions about the birth certificate.

Or maybe he's doing what he does best, which is run for office.

Or maybe he's pissed he wasn't invited to the Royal Wedding, which might have otherwise dominated the news cycle.

And it was Hillary's surrogates who first raised the birth certificate issue in the 2008 campaign. Who said Democrats don't eat their own?
