Both these guys have their own fansites to discuss their careers. This is not a Blazer forum thread and shouldn't be. NBA general forum, yes. As for non Blazers I like, I'd have to say I'm pretty fond of my wife
I can't see why the Bulls would go this direction. If they acquired him, they would have three guys who can do the same thing up front with Noah, Gasol and Love. Someone is bluffing...Cleveland needs to remember who it is that loses if they don't do anything. It's Minnesota. Don't make Flip any bigger than what he is Cleveland.
Disagree, IMO they all offer different benefits and coupled with a healthy Rose could make the Bulls very dangerous.
I'm not seeing the redundancy. Joakim Noah is pretty much the anti-Kevin Love. Love is a stretch 4 that attempted over 500 3-pointers last season and plays ZERO defense. Noah is the reigning Defensive Player of the year who hasn't made a single 3-pointer in his entire seven year NBA career. Pau is somewhere in between. He's more of a low post scoring threat than either Love or Noah. He's a good rebounder, but not as good as Love. He's a decent defender, MUCH better than Love, but not nearly as good as Noah. All three are excellent passing big men. If the Bulls could get Love, I could see all three coexisting and giving the Bulls a very productive 3-man rotation up front - similar to Sacramento when they had Vlade, Brad Miller and Chris Webber. That team had GREAT interior passing, and if not for a royal screw job by Stern's crooked refs, would have won an NBA championship. BNM
Cavs are offering Anderson Varejao, Andrew Wiggins, Anthony Bennett and a No. 1 pick for Love and Bulls offer is Jimmy Butler, Taj Gibson, Doug McDermott and Nikola Mirotic. The Bulls are leaving room to sweeten the pot with a #1 pick.
Damn. Wiggins signed a contract, means this shit isn't done for 30 days. I hope the media knows this and shuts the fuck up about it until then.
It's too much of one thing when there isn't enough of another. The Bulls could use a couple of real dynamic wing players that can create their own shot, slash and can get to the hoop at the two or three. If you look at that rumor of BG's they are giving up all their wings just to bring in more of what they have. I maintain, it doesn't make any sense.
Where are you getting this from? Makes no sense from Cleveland's standpoint, they are already thin at center, also don't think Wolves care for Varejao due to his age.
Not really. Cavs acquired a bunch of non-guaranteed contracts specifically for this. Something like this should work: Link (I included Tristan Thompson instead of Wiggins as the trade machine did not have AW on the Cavs' payroll yet, and Thompson's salary is close)
The Bulls trade is better and I think Minny knows this. Minny just wants that 1st round pick from Chicago also.
