Had there ever been a player who made an All NBA team the year before that didn't make the US team because they were cut not because they pulled out? I cant think of one, Dame may be the first.
Funny how the two point guards each have a coach on the staff, eh? I'm fairly confident that Dame will be better than Steph Curry in a few years.

Can't really argue against any of the guys over Lillard Closest guy is Rose, but you either get like 6 minutes of Rose or 6 minutes of Lillard. At that point who gives a shit, so go with Rose because he has the potential to give you more. The roster overall is certainly not as good as years past.
The problem is the college talent pool is not like it used to be. The good players leave early. The ones remaining would get their asses kicked by the international pros.
Well I id say both centers were locks to make the team. But both of them and Plumlee? Did not see that coming.
Rose would presumably have knocked Damian off the all-NBA lists if he were healthy, so it makes sense he'd knock him off Team USA.
That's kind of a silly statement. He won't be a better shooter, that's for sure, and he probably won't be a better passer. He already is better in the fourth quarter. Neither of them will ever be great on D. Damian's best comparison is still Chauncey Billups. Billups never wowed anyone and never stood out on all-star squads, but wasn't called Mr. Big Shot for nothing.
All I know is that by getting cut from Team USA Lillard has really hurt his trade value. Conley never got cut from Team USA.
