Says the man that claims someone must have created an eternal entity.

Since everyone has asked this is what I think...

The bible is not the best source when it comes to time and definitions of time. Most mentions of time are continually reinterpreted by modern Christians. The story of creation? God created everything in 6 days, rested on the 7th is often reinterpreted as, "well a day for god isn't the same as a day for humans. A god day could be a billion years so he could have created everything in 6 billion years and then taken a billion year vacation when he was done."

So what the bible says is eternal is as open to reinterpretation as the story of creation is. Eternal in the bible might be a day, a week, a year or even a billion years. Any scientific based debate on the biblical meaning of eternal is an eternal waste of time.

Don't play it off so coyly Denny. What you said is 80 billion times worse than anything papaG ever said. You sir, should be ashamed. At long last, have you left no sense of decency?!?

So Denny, you don't consider other dimensions a possibility?

My understanding is that other/multiple dimensions beyond our own are purely hypothetical. The math is elegant, but there isn't a mountain of real observations to support them.

That said, the math is more compelling than voodoo.

Did you see Saddam's rape rooms? Did you see his army hide their weapons so well that they were unusable?

No, but you've told me often that you believe it.

Now you say that believing things you don't see is wishful thinking...like, to justify a great evil that was done?

Why do you believe there were no such torture rooms in Iraq? WHO told you?

How do you know there were no WMDs? Were you there to verify it?

Are you upset that an Iraqi court found him guilty of crime against humanity and hung him for it?

I say the courts' duty is to determine the truth. Done deal.

You didn't see it. All logic says that he could easily rule without rape rooms, and that he wouldn't make his weapons unusable. Why does your quasi-religion, Warmongering, lead you to kill large numbers of innocent civilians about things you see only in your head?

Saddam was found guilty of mass murder. Crimes against humanity. Hitler kind of stuff.

    He had to go.

I'm not in favor of troops in Afghanistan or bombing Syria or much of what the government is up to.

You can say all the bullshit you want, but you aren't making much sense.

Oh no jlprk, you started a debate that is undebateable.

When you discuss philosophy with Denny, it's like trying to convince a computer that they are just machines

The concept of spirit, which existed before time existed. Once released from the body, your consciousness lives outside the realm of the natural world.
