Brassard's line with huge game. That third period was the best the rangers have played this post season.
Now that's it's so close it would be a shame not to get back to the finals. This is so difficult to do two years in a row. If somebody told us after the loss to LA last year that we would be playing a ECF game seven the following year. We would've taken it in a heartbeat and be thrilled.
Yeah, Nash woke up in the 3rd...great to see. Another goal right in front...maybe he will get the hint for game 7...LOL.
That was the key tonight. MSL slow, weak old ass off the top line. He can't be up there because he's a liability and can't win dirty board battles like Miller can and he's too slow to get back and back check effectively which means the other forwards have to be a little more defensively aware and cognizant and that means less effective offensively.
That's why you have to be proud of this team...but we MUST win game 7 on our ice. We cannot lose 3 of 4 at home this series. Need to close it out at MSG. And BS on Bishop...he was shaky again Milbury.
Currently the best numbers he has ever put up in the playoffs. Should have more goals but the points have been there.
Bishop did make a few great saves, but overall his positioning sucked, as usual. His biggest attribute is his size. Positioning-wise he SUCKS. Quick puck movement and quick shots and deflections will beat him 9/10 times.
Dude needed to show up tonight. He had zero points in the series outside of game 4. Now he needs to show in game 7. Again the concern i we will hear SO MUCH the next couple of days about how great we were and how awesome we are in game 7...cannot let that get into our heads. And TB will hear how awful they were and how they are in trouble. We need to be ready for a big TB effort in game 7.
He was shaky 94, I agree. Wasn't terrible and awful, but shaky for sure. 5 goals in 3 of his last 4 games...has to be in his head a little as a 1st year playoff starter.
Without a doubt. That's why if you pressure him and keep pressuring him he crumbles. That whole team crumbles when you hit them and pressure them. The key is to NOT fall behind. You have to score first and put the pressure on them and KEEP IT ON THEM. That was our biggest mistake in game 3. We got up and then laid back.
whats most frustrating with this team is they cant score a lot of goals in these pivotal games at the garden. It is always on the edge. I just don't get it.
Klein hasn't been quite the same but still dosen't make half the boneheaded plays some of the others do.
