My favorite thing about this time of the year is hearing about or finding the sleepers in the draft. The down side is falling in love with a guy and seeing them succeed somewhere else. That said, I'd love to see us get Raquan Gray. Love his game and attitude.
A few guys who should be there if we buy back into the 2nd round: Isaiah Jackson Herb Jones RaiQuan Gray EJ Onu Ayo Dosunmu Greg Brown Miles Mcbride JT Thor Charles Bassey Marcus Garrett Makur Maker Trey Murphy Jared Butler, Chris Duarte-both projected in the late 1st but if either fell to the 2nd I would jump all over them.
While I don’t agree with some people saying that Raiquan Gray is the next Draymond Green, I actually see him being more like Xavier Tillman. Gray has this special ability to run a pick and roll. I like how he keep his head up and pass to the open guy. His defense is solid but not elite. If his 3 point shot can improve which is something I believe he can. He got a solid form. If he can improve that he would be a great small ball 5 to have in the last few mins of a game. He would be great for a second round pick
I think Olshey will go for an upperclassman; somebody hopefully NBA ready. Olshey knows his time is short here. I don't think it will be cheap to buy a pick this year. Cash plus a future second,
Luka Garza, PF/C, Iowa Hawkeyes (6’10.0” barefoot, 6’11.25” in shoes, 8’11.5” standing reach, 242.8 lbs, 7’1.5” wingspan) When you have a National Player of the Year who was as dominant as Garza was for a two-year stretch, it is rare to see a complete makeover in such a short time. With that being said, the all-time leading scorer for the Hawkeyes looks like a completely different animal after slimming down to 242 pounds and showcasing more handling and athleticism than we’ve ever seen from him. Scouts questioned his ability to transition to a completely different style of basketball in the NBA that is far less dependent on post-scoring, but if his transformed frame is any indication of what is to come, Garza is more than ready to adapt to the style of the professional game. He still lacks great foot speed and athleticism, but with such a premium on shooting in today’s game, it’s conceivable that Garza can find a way with such a strong work ethic and determination. Garza stands a much better chance of being drafted following the combine than he did coming in.-Derek Bast

Garza I wouldn’t even waste a 2nd rounder on. Great college scorer, but slow and plodding, doesn’t play defense. Typical guy who can score in bunches in college. But wouldn’t be able to do shit against the athleticism and speed of the game that the pros play.
I was just watching a scouting video on him and that guy may well be worth a second round pick. He’s a very good shot blocker, got great timing. He moves his feel laterally so well that he can guard 3-5 and even guards in small doses. On offense he’s a powerful dunker and finisher. Got some nice counter moves when the power finish isn’t available. But he can’t do much other than that. He’s really is a stronger version of Jarrett Allen, another former Longhorns
If you can be sure that you know what you get and if you can make use of it I agree that it is worth a second rounder. I did not see anything of him but sounds okay so far.
It's said he has a 1st round promise... I'd have a hard time passing on him at 14 if I'm the Warriors who are in a win now mode. STOMP
One thing I've learned over the past half-decade: you literally cannot go wrong by picking the Villanova guy. I wanted Jalen Brunson over Anfernee (jury's out), would have been happy with Eric Paschall, and ecstatic with Saddiq Bey. So this year, if we somehow end up with a highish second-rounder, I want Jeremiah Robinson-Earl.
