And if they legalized gay marriage people would marry animals.

Well as an animal, I haven't gotten any offers, dammit.

If they legalize gay marriage, than only gay marries will be legalized!

Since I’ve learned so much about this on here recently, thanks by the way, I have an honest question…..
Are there transgender people who are gay, and how does that work?

    Yes!

It's my understanding that being trans is about being comfortable in your own body. (Loving yourself.)

Being gay is being with who you are attracted to. (Loving others.)

Same as "straight" people. We all just want to be comfortable in our own bodies and free to love who we (legally) want.

It's just so sad to me that so many are unhappy with the way they were created to be. If people want that change, though, they're free to do whatever they feel is necessary. My whole deal in here, though, is all about protecting our children.

BTW, I'll be sure to say Hi for you when I get together with MARIS tomorrow.

Protect children from what? Being married at 12 as in Missouri? Being shot in school? Dying from lack of health care? Going hungry? Being kept ignorant of history and literature? Being raped and pregnant and forced to carry to term?

Oh hell no. Protect children from drag queen story hour!

The way YOU feel they "were" created does not mean that's what it is.

And the "protecting our children" sure is a convenient rallying cry, cept that you are completely silent when it is about something that actually has an impact on children. You know, like shootings, kids being molested at churches, kids being hungry, kids not getting enough food/education, children getting access to health care, allowing gays to adopt (etc).

For some reason, you and your "like" are stone quiet on those topics.

Sly got the right of it: you can be lesbian or gay or bisexual and also be transgender. Trans (and intersex) is who you are, gay lesbian and bisexual are who you love (and asexual/aromantic is how intensely you love)

I am a lesbian and trans. Being attracted to women early on in figuring things out made it a little harder because I spent about two decades thinking “well sure I want to be a girl but I’m already attracted to girls so I guess being a straight guy is kind of okay” before I came to the conclusion that the dissonance between what I was saying and what I was inside was too much.

As an aside, cis lesbians are overwhelmingly supportive of trans lesbians, with 96% saying they would date a trans woman. The idea that trans lesbians are polluting the lesbian experience is a conspiracy theory put forth by transphobes.

I did date a trans woman long ago. Years later crushed on a trans coworker but she had a partner.

My trans nephew when living as a woman had a boyfriend but now he has a girlfriend so I guess he is a bi trans man. I self identify as lesbian but am more fluid. I just sometimes like someone.

What about the white supremacist stuff in the article? You agree with that?

Sure, say hi to Maris for me. I liked him, had some great conversations with him in private. I figured that article you posted was from him. You haven't gone in the White Power direction before. Sad.

But, you are not going to be a conduit for people who have been previously banned to post here. This is the 2nd time you've done that. I strongly suggest it's the last.

I always liked the phrase “hearts not parts” even if it’s a bit corny because ultimately that’s it. Like you I self identify as a lesbian but there are a couple boys I’ve been attracted to.

    Made perfect sense to me.

you know that inner voice you have? For some people it doesn't match the outter voice.

My inner voice is a middle aged white guy with a belly and poor eye sight who likes women. Lucky me, it matches my outer voice.

I can't tell if you're just being flippant, or really don't get it.
