green font? Don’t make me sad man. You are the most optimistic fan here. Don’t turn into a fair weather fan. It would make me sad.
I've been pretty much out since Dame was traded. Honestly, probably since Stotts was fired. Once this team shows me something I'll start caring again.
Some real gems in here. People pissing and moaning mid-way through the best season the franchise has had in 20+ years. They'd probably still double down on their bad takes even today.
we all have our faults, but I’ll take an unrealistic optimistic, overly dramatic stance over a constant pessimistic, bitch about everything, stance some posters exhibit here. 10 times out of ten. much rather read posts of unrealistic optimism then people wanting to scream and down talking anyone who disagrees with them. To me King is MUCH more tolerable than some here, including myself. lol.
My favorite posters on here are the realistic ones. The ones that acknowledge our strengths AND weaknesses. Not a lot of ‘em, but there are a few.
We should sign Meyers Leonard for our 2024 Tank-a-thon. Just let him jack up a bunch of swish3s. All he did is call someone a kite, and what's wrong with kites?
To me, this season has not been about wins and losses. In fact, if we play well, I root for a close loss. I want lottery ball combinations. That's how the Spurs are playing it. They see the big picture. It's the old Biblical idea of seven fat years and seven lean years. These are the lean years. What I look for is individual player development and fit. You can just see all that Scoot can bring once he figures out his position (the hardest in the NBA). Murray is finally getting comfortable and looks like a nice piece. Camara is an elite defender and a real surprise. We've seen solid play from Reath and the potential of Badji. I have actually enjoyed this year greatly.
Big picture buddy. I know its easy to get caught up in the nuances of individual games, but winning 30-35 games is not the best long term path for this season. I know you think we might still be able to make the playin , but id like to point out we also have one of the toughest schedules left in the nba, which will make that increasing difficult. Im finding the pleasure in other things. Watching the growth of the youngsters without win/loss being a real factor in my satisfaction and enjoyment
The Spurs have a basketball genius guiding that thing. We have some talented youth. But that's about it.
