But people do and are. So if they are, they should compare 19 yr old Dame to 19 yr old Scoot. But I agree. Other than the position, they have completely different styles, etc.

I believe either Hagans or Bouyea played 1 or 2 minutes of garbage time on an NBA team before they were Blazers. But hold your hats, Cronin might waive a Blazer to sign a new 10 day rookie. Joe gets crafty in the final few weeks.

 

Let’s check back in 2026 to see if he can replicate Dame’s rookie season!

Ant is a great scorer but a defensive liability. A big liability. We have seen it time and again. He has to have exceptional defenders on the floor with him to bail him out. Maybe it’s my imagination but Scoot seems much more willing to play hard on both ends of the floor than Ant

Agreed. With the right guidance Scoot will be a fine defender.

 

He seems to have the right mind set for it, along with the physical tools.
