My god. Some people just made it. Can't imagine being on that bridge when that happened. Driving across and seeing that ship coming at you.
Infrastructure going to hell for decades because tax cuts for the rich more important than paying for things.
“The safe thing to do is keep the tugs,” Konrad said. “Moving forward, I think that’s going to happen. The Coast Guard is going to say you’ve got to keep the tugs tied up until you pass the bridge.” Watch ships come and leave our harbor, tugs on both sides and often one in rear. Ties up to push/pull

So this person can post "That's Awesome!" after watching people die and it stays on here, but me reminding him that he is an "idiot" get's taken down? Nice work whoever did that. Maybe he'll find more of his neat videos to share, but maybe they'll be of people dying in tragic accidents? One can hope right.
No apostrophe in gets but otherwise correct. Since your word got taken down I will say in more words what you brilliantly summarized. Road Ratt is not the victim no matter how he pretends. The victims are the people who were killed and to a lesser degree those who lost their livelihood. Saying you can't control your emotions, well, you can control your typing finger so maybe keep it still. Yeah, I remember a morning I was feeling good. I had been dealing with a massive personal problem that was finally getting resolved. The A's were leading their division late in the season. Played second place Texas and beat them 10-1. So I was feeling good. On my way to work heard on the radio something that sounded like some terrible accident maybe? A plane hit a building? By the time I arrived at work it was two planes and the chances of that happening accidentally were infinitesimal. You can probably guess the date. And I am imperfect like everyone else but didn't say awesome and make excuses I was feeling too good to control my emotions. Especially because I wasn't feeling so great any more.
What a tragedy that didn't have to happen. Shipping companies dont like to pay for tug assist but should be required to under port/harbor bridges for this very real reason. The Baltimore BannerCould Key Bridge crash have been avoided if ship had tugboat guides?17 hours ago
People look for reasons to excuse their behavior, be it "I was drunk" or "I was sick" or "I was high" or "I have a disability". Instead of explaining their behavior, they look for an excuse to get away with acting a certain way and an excuse to *keep* acting that way. These people are really good at copping an attitude about how you react to them too. I knew someone, who had an intellectual disability, and acted like an asshole. So when people would tell him he's being an asshole, and he'd say "Hey, you can't say that, I have a disability!" No, his disability isn't why he was being an asshole, that was a choice he made. Now while he didn't necessarily have the skills to deal with certain things, he knew right from wrong. He knew how to appropriately interact with people in his community. But he would make the choice to be an asshole because he was an asshole. But he wanted to use his disability as an excuse for how he acted, and he wanted to use his disability to be critical of how people responded or interacted with him *when* he was being an asshole.
It’s amazing how much time people can spend on here and still be completely confused by the most simple and commonly enforced rule.
