There are still things you can evaluate Chauncey on with all those variables being what they were. You seem to think Chauncey shouldn't be evaluated at all, to the point where he can't even be expected to actually coach because of "different lineups". Three years in and the best thing you can say about Chauncey is "It's unfair to evaluate him whatsoever!".
Huh? first, i did provide something i think he should be judged on and in my opinion he completely succeeded. There is one person left on this roster who was here two years ago. And we played the most rookies ever in the history of the nba this year. Judge all you want. I wont take it serious and it will lower my respect of your opinions, if you think he should be judged on all aspects. Sorry bro. This post is off base on more than one front.
The "he got the young players playing hard for 48 minutes" thing isn't even true, but it's also a very low bar.
You can still evaluate a coach in some aspects even when they have a young roster and injuries. You seem to think they shouldnt be evaluatedat all because theyve been dealt a tougher hand. Thats silly.
Joe is similarly getting yet another pass. And before people misconstrue this yet again, it's not about tanking and losing. It's about tanking while having multiple high paid vets on the roster, without a clear idea of where this team is going. If you want to go full youth movement, get rid of Grant, Thybulle, Brog, etc. Why did you not trade them, only to sit them with fake injuries AGAIN, while letting them collect dust, if you want to win? If you want to go for the play in, then why the fuck did you trade Hart for a pick? Why did you let Dame get to a position where he has to ask out? Why did you give Grant and Thybulle extensions if you are so far away from winning? Now we hear a report that he aspires for us to be the 11th seed Rockets after preaching to us for years about wanting to "win big." For fucks sake. It's contradictory moves again and again and again. Just pick a fucking lane and stick to it. It's a sad time when i sorta wish we were the Wizards or Pistons instead. And yes this IS depressing. It's sad. For the third straight year, i had to watch our post all star games with 0 hope or excitement. I can't fucking stand it. I am shocked at how few others seem to be OK with this.

He gets the "rebuild" excuse made for him but has he ever used the word "rebuild"? I'm okay with rebuilding if he fully commits to it, but they don't want to do that. I share your frustrations in full. It sucks.
Thanks. Much appreciated. I guess i should have known better than to think i could clear my mind with some Blazer read and input. Some people here are more negative than anything in real life and im dealing with a shocking death in the family. Im good though. Thanks for asking. But recent days has sure shed a light on what to prioritize in life and being continually negative over a game of entertainment is not one of them. I honestly don't see or understand how some people can come on here day in and day out and flood the forum with such negativity.
I genuinely tell you that I would be willing to sit through another 3 years of winning 25 games, and with full excitement if it meant we had a clear vision. I love watching young teams grow and learn how to win. What we have instead is a mish mash of pieces on the roster and leadership without clear goals.
what am i missing T? Twice now i have said something i think is worthy of evaluation and twice you have twisted my words into meaning he shouldn't be evaluated at all….
im betting for every clip you provide i could show 10+ of the opposite. Also playing 40 minutes a game will do that.
