Just doesn't look like an NBA body that could ever be a starter. Do you want to use a lottery pick on a player that at best won't be a starter?

Perhaps I'd take him with one of our 2nd round picks.

I'd rather try and get a possible starter in the lottery, who is a bench player if he doesn't hit. Not draft a possible bench player that is a scrub if he doesn't hit.

With the way the game is going, I'd be interested in getting Edey and using him the way the Adelman did with Duck. Plus, they could use him as a situational sub, too.
I keep thinking that every team is going to prioritize guys that can decently match up with VW on the defensive end. Maybe the best way to counter him is making him work harder on defense by having to guard someone like Edey. Bang VW with a huge body and maybe make him pick up a quick foul or two.

That’s what I think as well. No matter what you have a guy who’s 7-4 and wants to play the game.

Out of the top 14 players there might be 4 players that will be starters at some point in their career. There are probably 6 that won’t be in the league in 3 years. If you get a rotation player with the 14th pick you probably did well in this draft from the way I see it. Eddy with his size and attitude will at least be in the league.

I was at an event 1080 the fan was at, and he was sitting next to me. At first, I thought he knew who I was and knows that I loathe him, but then a baseball game came on and he literally was talking to anyone who would listen like it was a segment.

Point being, he's one of those people who just likes to hear himself talk. I just got up and walked away. I couldn't handle it.

That's actually pretty interesting, I never would've suspected this from Zach Edey.

How would you stash him? A first round pick is guaranteed.

I mentioned him as a dark horse at 14. He's got game.

In the past he added two inches to Ants height and said he was 6'5, then when Ant was on his show and brought up that there was a fake rumor going around that he was 6'5, he pretended like he didn't know what Ant was talking about.

I interviewed him the other day. He is a really nice guy. Good background as his father was a hooper in Switzerland and then coach. I already told him that he has to be picked in Portland as I will be in Oregon right after the draft for holidays :D

You must have missed the first S2 Suite game. He became famous after that.

Listened to Bill Simmons podcast with Ryan Russillo today - Russillo mentioned how one NBA executive told him their statistical models basically rank this draft as starting at #10 in other years draft.

So we basically have a #17 pick this year. If we're looking at trading for #5 we should think of its as pick #15. Our warriors pick is worth pick #24.

This seems like a good way to quickly intuitively think of the value of picks when were considering trades that have picks from this draft as well as later drafts, etc.

You were commenting about Zack Edey as discussed in the prior post to yours, right?

Not disagreeing about him, but there isn't a personality who is on the radio, or does a podcast/YouTube show, who doesn't like to hear themselves talk.

I'm guessing that you have @Whyachi blocked. Stren was replying to one of his posts referencing Dan Marang.
