He’s a good enough manager. I like former catchers as managers. Hard too look too deep into a microscope on a manager who fucks up once in awhile in a 162 game season. The fact they have such a shitty offense and are 10 games over .500 is crazy
Seattle hasn't fired a coach midseason for 9 years. I'm glad somebody got canned. Even if Brown didn't deserve to get fired. It means the GM wants better, not meh
Blazer fan syndrome is a real thing. Mariners are at a better spot divisionally than they’ve been in years and they lose a game and shit is about to go DOWN. I’m not saying the team is without some major flaws. But a point of reference with this sad ass franchise is kind of nice
He was a scapegoat. Not sure there’s a managerial job in sports that mean less than a hitting coach. and Brown wasn’t even a hitting coach. He was a coordinator of some kind. Im old and nerdy enough to remember Brant Brown as a scrub with the Cubs
Onto the next one. Sucks to see the offense come alive and the pitching let them down. Taste of their own medicine i guess. I will say though, Stanek has been a bum. He can take that little mullet right out of town. He’s looked like shit this year
the best was the base chuck. Lue got tossed, yanked out a base pad, then javelined that sucker down the line about 50 feet. He wasn't happy afterwards, because he said he strained his hammy during the olympic style base chuck.
We damn near did everything to try to get swept by the royals. Holy hell. Also, man wouldn't it be nice to have teoscar on our team? Oh wait....
We are getting shut out by the worst team in baseball. Worst pitching staff in baseball. Worst loss since....
