Watching Atlanta at Indiana. One fan with #7 Aliyah Boston jersey. Every other jersey/T shirt worn by men, women, children, #22.

Of course they aren’t closing the hole in the balance sheet. The women are still stealing money from the men. If they had an ounce of smarts they would realize the cash cow they have been given in Caitin. Instead the will let petty jealousy get in the way along with politics. They will continue to play Bad Boys Detroit basketball refusing to capitalize on what Sabrina and Caitlin bring to their game. They have Bruekers coming in soon and the other young lady Jojo or whatever. Their game is changing and the old guard does not see it or just wants to hold on to their power. I don’t want to see Lebron playing until his dick is dragging on the court and I have no desire to watch Tourasi playing in Paris dragging her uterus around. Talk about not knowing when to go away. I suspect playing is the only way she can make money. Caitlin has probably banked more in this first season than Tourasi ever will. I could be wrong but I doubt we will be seeing Caitlin playing at 42.

First, it's Taurasi. If you must insult someone at least spell the name correctly.
And have you watched her? She can still play.
As for earning a living, what do former male athletes do? Most don't become lawyers. They go into coaching or broadcasting.
    Also it's Bueckers.
True that until very recently women didn't earn as much. Doesn't mean they weren't good.
The women aren't stealing from anyone.
A long spiel of grievance from someone who doesn't watch a lot of games.

Sabrina wasn't a rookie for that shooting contest. She had been in the league for 3 seasons, heading into her 4th.

She also doesn't do things that make people dislike her...

Dude. That's just girls basketball. That's the way it is. My kids are constantly bruised, scratches, and banged up.

It's not only tough for Caitlin Clark. Everyone plays hard against everyone.

People aren't jealous of Caitlin Clark. As far as I can tell they are just annoyed with the petty antics and the whining that she isn't doing as well as people thought she would (because those were absolutely unreasonable expectations).

I live in Phoenix, met her and crossed paths many times. Pointless. Not interested in the spelling of any names really unless they are household common names. I can spell Lebron and Durant. Household names. The NBA has been taking money from the men and putting it in the WNBA from day 1. Some call that redistribution. Some call it stealing. What are the men getting for their money? It is part of the CBA so they have no say it the process. I wasn’t dogging Diana or Lebron. They have had great careers. Time to go some time. Even Kareem, Karl Malone and Payton stayed too long.

Interesting, but what does it prove? You think anybody would come out to see her if she formed her own Harlem Globetrotters and just toured around? The WNBA pre-existed her and will almost certainly continue long after her career. Maybe the Saudis will set up a women's basketball league (yeah, I see the problem with that) and pay her "what she's worth"?

Why have all these MAGA hats decided that suddenly they're Caitlin Clark fans? She hasn't said anything to invite this, has she? Is it just because she's white and hetero? Is she a god-botherer or something?

Except, without the WNBA she'd be in Russia worrying about being held hostage.

    White and straight.
She has said nothing about her politics or religion.
Yesterday Aaliyah Boston had phenomenal game and Indiana won so haters came out and roasted Clark because her teammate had a better game than she. Honestly glad she's not on Olympic team. Giver her a little break.

She is the reason for the increase and major uptick of attention in the WNBA. Whether or not the other players want to believe it or not. Same thing happened in the PGA with Tiger. Once the other players accepted him, things only got better.

MAGA idiots trying to portray Clark as fragile white woman bullied by mean tough Black women. Horseshit. She is a highly competitive aggressive professional athlete. She's too thin, but has worked on adding muscle.
She is not a savior or a victim. She's a basketball player. Taurasi was correct and not disrespectful when she warned college stars need to adjust to faster more physical pro game. Clark is adjusting.

I promise you I know the reason why. Whether people want to admit it or not.

Not sure where MAGA has been discussed here. Seems to be a fall back position. I’ve only discussed dollars and cents and stated the obvious, politics are playing a role in the animosity against Caitlin. That is being debated everywhere. As HCP points out, numbers never lie. I am happy for you all that have watched the WNBA from day one that your league now has a true star and a couple more coming in behind her soon. This is a good thing because she is bringing in new eyeballs and revenue. I don’t care what color she is or what she does in the privacy of her home.
