She is one shy of WNBA season record for double double by guard

She wasn't good enough for the Olympics though.

Can't wait for Reese fans losing their minds when Clark wins ROY.

I want to go on record now that it will be co ROY with Clark and Reese. There will be too much backlash from a certain part of the fan base if Reese isn’t recognized. Clark absolutely deserves it though

Well she didn't get to try out (in fact, never even worked out for them) because she was playing in the NCAA tournament... Nobody said she wasn't good enough.

They won gold without her. She'll get her chance.

I don't follow WNBA. I won't know anyway. I only post this stuff because Tweeter puts it out there. Seriously she could walk past me and i would not know who she was. The only reason I even know the name of the reese chick is because it comes up on the thousands of tweeter tweets. I absolutely could not pick her out in a game if I tried. Very little interest in watching a professional game that isn't even as dynamic as a Varsity High School team.

I love these dudes who keep screaming from the rooftop women's sports are so boring and irrelevant they just can't stop talking about it!

Wow. Just wow. You admitted your ignorance by admitting you don't follow the WNBA. Then you double down on your ignorance by insulting it as being "less than" a varsity high school team. You really DON'T watch the women's game. Personally, for years I have enjoyed watching the women's game far more than I have enjoyed watching the men's game. The ladies actually play like my generation was taught to play; heavy on the fundamentals with strong emphasis on team work. Maybe they can't dunk (or at least as much) but that's a good thing. When they actually do it, it is much more exciting. The men's game has become so much iso, hero ball, one on one and hotdogging. They got arrogant and it shows. The actual game has become secondary. Most men's NBA games are yawners. The downside of the women's game is that the women are picking up all the men's bad habits and attitudes and their game is starting to degrade into the current slop that is men's basketball. Until it inevitably gets there, I'm just gonna try and continue to enjoy it while I can......

Okay. Your opinion is valid I guess. No I don't follow it. Could not tell you what team is good or bad? Cannot even tell you the names of the teams connected to what city they are in other than the Indiana team is the team Clark plays for. Do not know any of the players other than the ones being force fed to us and the one that was jailed in Russia. Griner please don't spell check that? I do not know which team the reese lady plays for. Maybe you can enlighten me? Every game I have tried to watch is indeed less dynamic than a high school game and yes I agree they are doing many of the same things the NBA could do without.
Again the only reason I know anything is because ESPN and the NBA are forcing it on the media level. Go ahead and ask around I assure you I am not alone on this.

Hopefully this new group of players and the CC frenzy will produce enough fans and following for the league to actually start to support itself.
I know there are a bunch of young ladies watching and dreaming of one day getting their chance.

Then why post in the WNBA thread? It's like how HCP always posts ion any MLB thread just to shit on baseball. If you don't like, not interested, and don't follow, why bother?

Leave it to Dwight Jaynes to throw his hat into the ring on this one.

I still say Cheryl Miller was GOAT but played at a time when women got no publicity and made no money.

    Agreed.

I always refer to Reggie as Cheryl Miller's little brother.

So what we're basically saying is CC dominates the ball so gets a ton of opportunities (scoring) and plays with two other All Stars (assists).

She is incredibly talented and plays hard. And she is obviously a star.

But not very efficient and doesn't play team ball.
