I think most of us Blazer fans have taken plenty of time off from watching this team the last 4 years. Least I've ever watched the Blazers in my lifetime.

Now we have that to look forward to the last half of the season again - except without the chance of getting a top pick in a loaded draft.

Maybe that's exciting for you? Congrats.

Alright, what's done is done. It is a deadline. Nothing can be done now. Let's hope for fun basketball and either somehow miraculously making the playoffs or pulling off the best post all star tank in league history.

    Go Blazers!!!

    Marang can kiss my ass.

He pretends to be a neutral beat reporter but is the franchises biggest apologist. He never even has the slightest criticism of the team.

He moves the goalposts all the time so that he's not "wrong". It's bullshit.

He's significantly more knowledgeable on the NBA and especially the new CBA and how it impacts the ability to trade then almost all of you here.

Yeah and he said because of the new CBA and there wasn’t going to be any trades and this was one of the most action packed trade deadlines maybe ever.

At least our management didn't choose to trade a 25 year old superstar for a fast aging once superstar and a pick 6 years from now.

Don't get me wrong maybe we would have if we had the chance but at least that didn't happen to us.

Maybe he is. But if all he does is talk about how great the Blazers are and never criticize them then why would I take his word for justifying their inaction?

It's like saying Mike Barrett had a better idea if our players gained muscle in the offseason than me. Of course he has more access to the team - but I have no idea if his praise is meaningful if all he does is justify and praise the people he reports on.

This is way funnier reading the whole thread after noon, knowing the outcome.
