the fact we could have traded Grant to Houston for a first last summer is just bad management. it’s a mistake by Cronin and should not be forgotten.
Even if he ends up getting one, having Grant on the team this year is not good for our “rebuild”. I would rather have Kris Murray playing this year than a guy who is going to get moved later for the same package we could’ve got (or worse package) and helping the team win.
    Huge miss

Not too late. In 21-22, we had a similar record and then benched the stars and went 1-21 the rest of the season.

If Joe and Chaucey think if they dont get it going this year they won't be back next year. Like Chuancy said in a recent interview, he'd like to stay and finish with this group now that they are connecting? If they are lame ducks what their real incentive to tank. Those two are trying to sell Bert and Jody this team is coming together finally so let us finish the job with new extensions. lol

I think you misread the meaning of that post; since I thought some people might, I explained it in a post way back there.

The big fuck you imo is when Joe said we build around Dame 100%. Then he gets the third pick and refuses to trade it so he could then start his rebuild and buy another 3-5 years.

I think we probably win more games if we trade Grant/Simons. So that’s probably why we didn’t. I think Joe knows like everyone else one more high pick could be all it takes. Top of this draft is supposedly stacked.

okay well I hope the vets don’t play tonight. Every win matters.
Philly and maybe the raptors pass us in wins. That’s really hoping
So you end up with 6th..
    Sorry that’s not good enough
in a year you know one of the best drafts in a long time is coming.
You’re young guys have shown significant improvement
When you can now see Grant is our 3rd best forward
You gutted the fan base and traded Dame and drafted scoot to be the PGOTF after saying you were going to push all your chips in to build around dame
You have a coach who is clearly coaching to win

    can we get lucky? Yes
are we doing anything to help our odds of getting lucky? No

We are treading water like we have done for years

Simon’s is an expiring contract next year. His value is not going back up

We turned down a trade from Houston for Grant for a first!

you have to call a spade a spade.

    Cronin has made bad choices

    This team will never learn.

WCF in the 2030s. Book it. What a waste of time.

This guy you're praising just went on radio and seriously said that OKCs ownership sucks so why would anyone want to be like OKC.

So why the all caps with question marks and exclamation points in your misleading post if you knew all along we weren’t doing anything?

This year set us back 5 years.

Today set us back 5 years.

This is the year we look back in 2030 saying "this was the year we needed to lose all those games".

This win streak cost us minimum 5 years.

Knowing we weren't doing anything absolutely justifies the caps and exclamation points.

I've chimed in plenty when needed or warranted on the CBA. Danny has been talking for like two weeks now about how restrictions e this nee cba was going g to be on moves and we've just seen one of the busiest deadli es, with some of the biggest names basically ever. So please, miss me with his fucking knowledge of the nba and the cba. He's an obnoxious asshat, and was back when he was posting on here.

I'd vote that yours is better than Marang as well.

I probably would have been above Marang years ago - I'm just not staying up to date on the changes the last 5-10+ years so very possible he now knows more than me.

I'm certain 90% of this board knows the CBA better than David Kahn and Dwight Jaynes ever did! Will never forget when the Wolves tried to use "implied cap space" to offer Batum an offer sheet only for the NBA to void it over being invalid.

Fun fact, Dwight Jaynes is the only person that has blocked me on twitter, because I called him out for his buddy Kahn not knowing how the cba worked.
