I think we do need another consistant outside shooter. We have plenty cap space to get a great shooter or two. D.Jones and the Lithuanian pg Saras would both be nice additions. It depends a lot on how much Z is asking for, but we could possibly still have enough room to sign a shooter like Radmanovic or Marshall after signing a pg. Or maybe a cheaper guy like Cliff Robinson if we dont have enough $.

    Daniels(MUST GET)
    Hughes
    James
    Gooden
    Varejao

NICE, but do you guys plan to sign Big Z? Will you have enough room for him?
and don't you guys have Jackson? I mean, he has the range, he just needs the experience and minutes, plus with this lineup your team is going to get alot of steals and alot of fast break points

    My suggestion to the Cavs

sign Arvydas Macijauskas, a great shooting guard who would be able to fill that gap that the Cavs need as a shooter.

I have followed his game for a while going back to before the olympics. He was team-mates with Luis Scola this year and helped take his team to the euroleague final. He had a very successful year shooting over 58 from the floor and close to 50% from three.

This is great news for the Cavs, as a fan I'm happy, Ira Newble was a waste of time, I don't like Hughes will make a huge impact next year but in the next few years I think the pace will get real good.

As it is I like this, the Cavaliers are looking to improve their roster and soldify the future, and I feel this is the best move that they could get at the two-guard. Mobley is nice, but he is a bit older than Hughes with much less upside. Joe Johnson would have been the best option IF he wasn't an unrestricted free agent. He's young, versitile and can shoot. But during the signing period, they could potentially end up with nothing, if they commit their cap space to signing him and the Suns end up matching the deal.

Not only that but, the Cavs solidify their defense. If they can re-sign Z to provide an anchor in the paint, you are looking at a team that is significantly improved defensively, with the potential to lead the league in steals which will result in fast breaks than easy buckets.

This helps the Cavs in every situation even shooting.... b/c frankly Ira Newble was just not gonna cut it for another year.

If they didn't sign Hughes, the Cavs wouldn't have been able to get anyone... Mobley's going to Denver.

The Cavs would definatly stink if they didn't sign anyone new this off season with all this money... would have been the second coming of the Hawks.

Hughes is a solid defender, has a knack for stealing balls, can take A LOT of pressure off Lebron, can play some point, is a decent shooter, can do almost everything.

This will really hurt the Wizards.

Yeah, this was a MAJOR upgrade at sg. Last year we may have had the worst starting sg in the league, this year we have a borderline allstar at the 2.

I'm estatic about the signing. I agree that it si a little overpriced but thinking about it they were desprate to get him & Washington offered just as much so it had to be done. Now with about 15 million left. That is enough room to Re-sign Big Z or Eddy Curry & Antonio Daniels. & sign a backup center like Hunter.

    PG: Daniels
    SG: Hughes
    SF: James
    PF: Gooden
    C: Curry or Z

I shaking looking at that line up. It's going to be a great season.
