Projected Lebron James Stats: 2005-06 Season How much do you think Lebron can improve from last season, is he gonna continue the 25,7,7 streak? i think he will improve in every category but i dont know if he will improve his scoring. The only reason that he ended up with 27 a game was because after the all star break he just lost total confidence in his teamates and deciced to beocme a score first player.
With Hughes coming on the team, I don't see his PPG increasing drastically, Hughes demands quite an amount of shots. Hughes also grabs about 6 RPG as a SG, and will likely take over some ball handling duties. 27.5 PPG 7.0 RPG 7.4 APG 2.3 SPG 0.6 BPG 3.1 TPG 48.3% FG 34.5% 3PT 76.0% FT
28ppg 7rpg 9apg(I think his ast numbers are gonna increase a lot with more shooters and finishers on the team) 50%fg 37%3ptfg
I don't think peopel relalize how many shots Hughes will take and that Hughes will handle the ball a lot as well. Hughes was basically the PG on the Wizard's last year, and will be basically that this year (sharing with Lebron) for the Cavs as well if they don't find a servicable PG. Lebron's stats might go up abit, but instead see an improve in his team's record, which means more.
LeBron James will not average over 30 next season, with Hughes signing that will take away from some of his shot opportunities. LeBron's assists per game should go up considering they got a couple of new weapons, Larry Hughes and Donyell Marshall. Never the less he is going to put up amazing numbers, I see him averaging about: 28.1 ppg 8.1rpg 7.4 apg
If you watched the cavs last year, you'd know that with accomplished shooters, LBJ's assist numbers would have gone up quite a bit. I think he should average 8 assists easy, and 9 depending on how this team comes together. As for the other numbers, I see them staying the same.
Yeah, actually I think I put his PPG up too much. I think he will get over 30, but somewhere more like 30.5 PPG.
26.5ppg -He wont be the only scoring option now that hughes is there, not to mention Z. 8 rpg- His rebounding will go up if gooden is traded, also donyell marshall is not much of an inside rebounder. 8.5 apg- With Hughes and Marshall added his assisits will go up. 50.1- FG% Steals and blocks may or may not go up...
His stats for the most part will remain the same. Just a minor increase and discrease in certain areas, but what will make him standout next season more than last season is his leadership skills. I think this upcoming season he will show tremendous leadership and actually take the Cavaliers to the Playoffs this time around. Thus next season will be looked at as a better season even though I think his stats might take a slight decrease, so slight that you won't even really notice. In addition, I think he will be a little more consistent and his defense is going to pick it up. So all in all, stat wise there will be no significant change, but impact wise he will step up yet another notch.
People don't always improve in stats year by year... especially when he had such an amazing year last year. He could've gotten MVP with those numbers IF his team did good... tha'ts how good the numbers were. Now this year, he has more scoring options, some of you are saying BOTH his asssits and points will go up. I can't see that happening, it's going to be one of them depending on whether he trusts his teammates. In fact I can't even see his PPG going up. Marshall and Hughes are both amazing scoreres, same with Z.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Mr.Wade:</div><div class="quote_post">Now this year, he has more scoring options, some of you are saying BOTH his asssits and points will go up. I can't see that happening, it's going to be one of them depending on whether he trusts his teammates.</div>If he and his team's 3 point %s go up, then he can up both categories. And I fully expect 3 point %s to go up this year.
<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Hughes was basically the PG on the Wizard's last year</div> He wasn't basically the PG, Arenas was the PG, but he shared ball handling and playmaking duties with Arenas, it was like 55% - 45%. <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post"> 8.5 apg- With Hughes and Marshall added his assisits will go up.</div> Marshall will help his assists, that's why I had it at about the same level, though slightly lower. Hughes on the other hand is not a catch and shoot player, and will not help his assists at all. Hughes presence will decrease his assists because Hughes will take a lot of shots, and also handle the ball a lot more than anyone has this past year.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Lamont:</div><div class="quote_post">26.5ppg -He wont be the only scoring option now that hughes is there, not to mention Z. 8 rpg- His rebounding will go up if gooden is traded, also donyell marshall is not much of an inside rebounder. 8.5 apg- With Hughes and Marshall added his assisits will go up. 50.1- FG% Steals and blocks may or may not go up...</div> Where did you get that from?
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Bobcats:</div><div class="quote_post">Where did you get that from?</div> get what?
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Bobcats:</div><div class="quote_post">That Marshall isn't an inside rebounder.</div> He's more of an outside prescense thats his comfort zone, he doesn't bang much.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Lamont:</div><div class="quote_post">He's more of an outside prescense thats his comfort zone, he doesn't bang much.</div> On offense you could say that, but in terms of rebounding and defense he is a banger/inside player.
