Scratch off Kareem Rush, Tyson Chandler, and Cliff Robinson from your list. Also Willie Green has a torn ACL, so he's probably not a player the TWolves would want at this point.

The TWolves are in salary cap hell so Eddy Curry is out of the question.

Anthony Peeler once clocked KG with a cheapshot elbow to the face, he definitely won't be back.

I think Marko Jaric or Gerald Wallace would be great fits on the TWolves.

I think they need to re-sign Eddie Griffin. He reportedly will get most of the MLE, if not all of it. He's been the best backup KG has had in his career. He can come in and play 2-3 posistions at times and score, block shots, play d, and grab boards. However, they also need a PG. Hudson is great spark plug off the bench, but Sam Cassell is on the decline. If they can't land Watson and Jaric (who are being persued by many teams) then I would settle with Cassell for now and see what comes up during the season and wait until next off-season if nothing can get done.

As Shape said, Wallace would be a nice pickup, but he's restricted.

I love how everybody loves to scream a guy is on the decline after 1 sub-par season. I know everybody knows Sam is my dude, so alot of people think Iam bugging when I say Sam isnt done yet. People probably think its just cause I dont want to face the fact that his career is coming to an end. Buit I truely dont believe Cassell is done. If he can stay healthy this year he will be effective. Will he give you 19-20 pts again? no...but I still think he can give this team 15-16pts per easily. And make some big palys for this team during the crunch. But I think it al depends on how the Wolves go about playing him. If the Wolves decide to baby him, so to speak. And say limit his minutes all year, then he wont ever reach his full effectiveness again. But if they give him the rock, let him play his game. And give him the minutes, where he isnt getting minutes slashed by Hudson or some other guy, then I think you will see Sam still has enough left in the tank. BTW, I know Sam will never be a 35-38 minute per game guy again. But I still think he needs about 30 a game to be effective.

As far as free agents, like I said earlier in the offseraon I dont expect any big new parts. They will re-sign Griff, Madsen. Add Mo Evans and probably another big man. A Trade of Cassell or Wally will be the only way they get a new major part.

Initially I heard that we were going to be over-paying Griffin.

*The Timberwolves have agreed to terms to bring back free agent Eddie Griffin. The forward, who averaged 7.5 points, 6.5 rebounds and 1.7 blocks in 70 games last season, will receive a two-year contract calling for $1.8 million the first year and $2 million the second year.

If this is what the deal is, I'm all for it.
