The Eagles aren't really stacked at reciever. They just have a lot mediocre guys. On most NFL teams Reggie Brown wouldn't be a first reciever and I think Philly's weak recieving core is going to hurt them is season. If you want to look at a stacked recieving core, take a look at Tampa Bay. Joey Galloway (coming off career year), Michael Clayton, Ike Hilliard, and David Boston are one scary group.

Not only that but they have no one to throw them the ball. Dont tell me Simms is a good QB. As far as the Eagles go we dont have a No. 1 we have a team. We have enough recieving options with Westbrook, Smith, Brown, and Donte.

Boston does have some issues but on this Bucs team he is a 4th string reciever. That shows how stacked we are. Also, we have Cadillac and Pittman who can catch out of the backfield, Alex Smith who is an outstanding recieving TE, and Alstott who is good at getting yards after the catch. And Simms isn't a nobody. A lot of analysts are predicting a breakout season for Chris and I WILL tell you that he is a good QB. He isn't on the McNabb level but he can throw the long ball and is pretty accurate. His decision making could use some work but he is still young and that comes with experience. I do know that I would take Simms and our passing attack over McNabb and the Eagles attack because it is simply better. You may have a team but it's a team of inexperienced players who haven't proven anything. If you told the casual NFL fan to name a reciever on the Eagles, many of them wouldn't be able too.

I can say the same about the Bucs. Our team is young and inexpereienced? Well Simms is not exactly a seasoned vet either. Clayton is also unproven despite the terrific rookie year. The Bucs also need to watch how many carries they give Cadallac we all saw what happened in the second half of last season. Not to hate or anything, but I don't know if the Bucs will make the playoffs.

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Best Kept Secret:</div><div class="quote_post">Pinkston and Detmer are cut. Feeley is back...</div> THANK GOD!
Chris Simms is an OKAY QB, but it'll be Cadilliac Williams running the show and guiding the bucs to the SB.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Smitty:</div><div class="quote_post">Damn. Isn't Dirk kinda old though?</div> Well, he is only a punter.......
I heard this radio commercial today for chuncky soup....It says the new chuncky alphabet soup...now better since the letters T and O were removed. It strucky me as funny. But now it seems kind of corny.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Smitty:</div><div class="quote_post">Damn. Isn't Dirk kinda old though?</div> He should be 31,that's "young" for a punter actually,I remember seeing punters that were 40 something when I played Madden few years ago
Fraley just got traded to Cleveland for a 2008 draft pick........Not good. What if Jackson goes down?
<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">The Eagles have traded fullback Josh Parry to the Seattle Seahawks, their second trade of the day, and have released 17 players and put two on IR to reach the 53-man roster limit. The released players are: QB Timmy Chang, LB Torrance Daniels, G/C Trey Darilek, WR Jabar Gaffney, WR Michael Gasperson, WR Justin Jenkins, DE Darrell Lee, DT Keyonta Marshall, WR Darnerien McCants, LB Dedrick Roper, S J.R. Reed, WR Bill Sampy, TE Stephen Spach, CB Donald Strickland, TE Andy Thorn, CB Matt Ware, CB Dexter Wynn. </div> http://www.philadelphiaeagles.com/news/new...il.jsp?id=54598 Wow..I didn't think they were gonna cut Reed. I wanted to keep Timmy Chang too..but not really suprised since we brought Feeley back. Ware & Wynn getting cut kinda suprised me, they were good special teams guys. Gaffney and McCants getting cut isn't a suprise since we traded for Stallworth and Avant and Baskett have been pleaseant suprises so far.
Wow, thats a lot of cuts. I was hoping that the Eagles could have kept Timmy Chang in the PS at least. Also, Im very surprised JR Reed got cut. Although he wasnt 100%, he played with a lot of heart and did pretty well in the returns. Also, I wonder what we got for Parry
The only player Im gonna miss is JR Reed,I thought he did really well when he played. He got like 2 tackles,1 INT and 1 Sack in a game against the Steelers,I think
