Sorry no pre-game hype but I must say that thru the 1st and 2nd quarter Knicks are looking pretty good. Lot of the pressure was taken off the Knicks tonight and put on LB being this is his first appearance in Detroit since leaving them this summer. Knicks got off to a great start shooting like 52% from the field in the first quarter. JJ got a couple of blocks and a nice spin move in the post on Darko. I won't get my hope up high on seeing too much more of that though.

Very impressive start for the Knicks. They are actually controlling the paint and doing a better job of protecting the basketball. Jerome James came to play tonight, he can in the game and was very physical and just imposed his will inside the paint.

Marbury looked phenomenal tonight with the basketball. 8 points and 5 assists in the 1st quarter and most importantly ZERO turnovers. Very efficient performance by him, he also should have had a few And 1's on some of his drives. He's been butchered a few times without the benefit of the whistle.

Good first half. It's clear that the Knicks' success is a direct result of Larry Brown's coaching against his former team. Looking good so far.

Have I mentioned Malik Rose is one of the worst players ever? Yeah. He really is. He makes me sick.

------ I'm back, guys. I know it's been awhile since I've posted. I've had tons of work in school. I'm now organizing my time better and will be posting regularly again in the very near future.

Knicks got that third quarter lull going on right now. Down by 9 midway through and no noticeable things to mention right yet. My question to LB...where is Jerome James? Get him back in the game cause Mo Taylor is doing nothing out there...neither is AD for that matter. Time to put in Frye, James and Crawford. Knicks 2-10 from the field right now.

Well the knicks are down by 18 now. Its clear that they were just happy to be tied at the half. They played like a Larry Brown team in the first half but now they cant buy a basket. I didnt expect them to win but I did expect them to give a fight. BTW Bill Walton called Ariza a UCLA legend.

It was mixed, but I heard quite a few boos. Or maybe they were saying boo-urns. [IMG] (simpsons)

3:10 left and the Knicks are down by 5. I must say tha Chaning Frye will be a solid player. The one major point of consistency is this rookie...19 points 3 rebounds.

WOW!!!... Trevor Ariza just slammed it home in Big Ben's face...Knicks down by 6

Yeah, man. I'm still recovering from that jam. Two facials in a row by Ariza. They were on good defenders, too.

Anyway, there's nothing to be dissapointed about. We were playing the NBA's best team and took them down to the wire. Hopefully we can rebound from this loss with a home win against the Celtics.

    Ariza is god....

Ben Wallace should retire after that, he was so helpless, he was like trying to keep distance from Ariza, but Ariza's gravity pulled him to the molestation that Wallace catched right in the face, almost like a Peter North cumshot

    Ariza owns Ben Wallace.
