I read that too. I don't know how much truth there is to it, though. I know Dallas might want to ship off Daniels' contract, but James won't start there and I doubt they'd want to give him the money he wants. I really don't see a big demand for Mike James, which is why I doubt we'll anything significant for him in a sign-and-trade.
James could start there.. JT and James could play the point and 2 guard. They'd have a lineup of James/Terry/Howard/Dirk/Diop or Dampier.. But i really doubt this move would pull off. I wouldn't mind seeing Daniels in a Raps uniform. He can play 1/2 and 3 positions.
wow...that would be an awesome move by BC. daniels would be a great piece to the puzzle...with him and mo on the perimeter, we'd have some great perimeter defense...plus adding a guy who can create his own shot and set up others...if this happens ill be one happy camper

I would do that trade in a second. He is very versatile and talented. He'd have a chance to shine in TO.
I don't see this one happening at all. Dallas already has Terry and Harris so that'll mean James will come off the bench, something we all know he won't be fond of. Plus I don't see why'd they want to be spending the kind of money he'll be asking for. As a Raps fan, I'd certainly take this, but I seriously doubt it's happening.
Well after seeing him shine in game 6 I would do it. I think he would get a great chance in Toronto and maybe even start and bring Mo Pete in as your 6 man.

He has the chance to be a solid rotation player, but that's if Colangelo is willing to take on the contract.
daniels still has the potential to be a good role player. i dont think Dallas should trade him, since he's still young and has shown he can be a good player before his injuries. and Mike James is just, yeah...

Given, James did shoot a solid percentage from three point land this year and hit some big shots... you have to keep in mind that he's doing this on the raptors - I team with few other options. Watching the guy on a regular basis you can see he takes too many shots, takes a lot of bad shots, holds the ball for too long and drains the shot clock, doesn't pass enough (and is insisting on playing pg???)....

He only averaged 20 PPG because he was forcing so many shots. He won't get the same oppurtunities elsewhere.
I hope Marquis Daniels doesn't get traded to Toronto, but if he does I'll be a Raps fan i guess and he'll def will get the mins there. Marquis should like be traded to Orlando. Mike James, he's good, but that would be a bad move for the Mavs cuz they should re-sign Terry and that would be too many small guards: Terry, Harris, James, 3 small guys all wanting minutes.

He won't get the same oppurtunities elsewhere.</div> He did shoot over 50% from the feild and 44% from the 3pt line...Chris Bosh gets the ball when plays are run for him, and no one else scored consistently otherwise, except for James. He also lead the leage in assists, so... did he pass the most? Make the most effective passes? Mike should get his money, who else are we gonna sign? We already know Mike works good with Chris so why not continue with it and add what we can from the draft and whatever trades lay ahead, Nesterovic was a good addition.
