They used to be the most respectable basketball team in New York recently, since the Knicks have been terrible.

But with Becky Hammon gone, and all of our vets leaving in the offseason, we're really struggling.

Can we get Candace Parker in the draft?

I dont follow much college ball is Candace Parker supposed to be the top pick? If she is what position does she play?

I'm not too worried about the Liberty. The real reason for the struggling is the abscence of Ann Wauters. She's one of the best centers in the league and is playing with her national team in preparation for this summer. She should be back in the Liberty uniform next season. In my opinion if Wauters was playing the Liberty would be a playoff team. So I look at it as a playoff team recieving a (high?) lotto pick.

Anyway I think Isiah Thomas should be fired.

Plus the absence of Becky Hammon too. But Candace Parker, from what I've seen and heard is going to be a monster. She's a PF/C around 6'3 or 6'4 and can dunk with relative ease. She actually beat J.R. Smith in the dunk contest in high school.

But Hammon has been injured for a shortwhile though. The Liberty played God awful even when she was healthy. OH YES!!! Now I remember her! I watched that dunk contest! She was pretty impressive. Is she coming out this year?

Not sure, but if she is projected to be a top pick, I don't see why not.

I try to watch Liberty games this year but every single time I turn to a game they're down by 20. EVERYTIME!
I havent seen Candace Parker play but that dunk she did in the Mc Donalds comp to win was weak.

She can barely dunk. She has to reach full extension but for a girl its crazy. Whatever happened to Witherspoon?

Are you serious? Witherspoon is retired. She's been retired for a few seasons now I think.
