<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Allen Iverson went to team president Billy King this past Tuesday and demanded to be traded, according to two agents whose clients play for the 76ers. GM Billy King is attempting to accomodate the request as quickly as possible, according to two general managers that spoke with the Sixers' boss. "If you know your leader doesn't care, how are we supposed to play with the guy?" steamed a teammate to his agent. According to the same agent, Iverson reportedly told King he likes Maurice Cheeks as a person "but not as a coach." Mark Kizla of the Denver Post reports that a source informed him that the Nuggets are interested in Iverson.</div> http://realgm.com/src_wiretap_archives/436...s_to_be_traded/
Obviously excluding LeBron, what would you guys take for AI? I'm thinking something including Varejao as the Cavs may not be able to afford the contract he may desire. Then, perhaps Larry Hughes and Eric Snow? Probably wouldn't be done, but I want to get some idea of what Philly fans want for him.
^probably the most ridiculous trade idea ever. Philly could get WAY more than that for iverson from many teams. i would say they need to trade for immediate impact players who are close to AIs value (wich will be nearly impossible) or trade for young players with potential, expiring contracts, and picks. (which is what i prefer.) I'm really hoping he can get traded to a contender cause the man deserves a ring as much as anyone in the NBA.
grizz, celt, atl, toronto, ny. i see these teams with the best chance. toronto should jump at this ivo bosh combo would be great for them. ny could trade marbury and some extras for ivo. while ny gets rid of steph. we see what ivo did with a mobo. i think he and bosh would definatly make the playoffs.
Teams know King is in a pressure situation, so the offers won't be as competitive depending if this is true or not. Btw, come to think of it this is from Vecsey of the NY Post. How credible is this?
He will end up in denver or Boston, imagine him in New York! I think he'll most likely end up in denver but sixers won't get the value they want in return without some damage done to denvers squad imo. But I guess that's what happens when all stars are traded

More than likely this is going to involve a minimum of 3 teams. If the 76ers trade AI, they will be committed to rebuilding and will want Draft Picks and Cap Space. It's going to take multiple teams to get them what they want. Has Iverson made a list of teams he'd want to play for?
Apparently the 76ers want to clean house entirely. <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">"Everybody is gladly available. Andre Iguodala or Sam Dalembert may have to be surrendered in order to move Chris Webber ($20.7M/22.3M next season) or A.I. "But the big push is on to deal Iverson."</div> Source

ESPN.com reported that just rumors were going on like this, but I wanna see some more word on it.
so, now AI and c-web are disgruntled??? wow, so would you trade AI for say gerald green, telfair, 1st rounder (next year) and then trade webber and a second rounder to the hawks for josh childress...i think that would be so good for you guys pg/telfair sg/green sf/iggy pf/hunter c/dalembert bench: carney korver childress green randolph henderson ollie i think that would be a good team next year...good youngsters along with some seasoned vets=playoffs now i dont know whether atl and bos would do this, but if the opportunity came up id jump on it. also i dont know how credible vescey is
