Just wondering if anyone out there had the inside scoop on how Carson Palmer's re-hab is going and what not, with his knee. I haven't heard anything, but maybe someone else has.
Last I heard he was walking on it and he was very optimistic about starting week one. I doubt he starts until week 3 or 4, it looks like John Kitna is moving on too, The Bengals are said to be interested in bringing Tommy Maddox and Jay Fiedler and possibly Josh McCown to compete with Craig Krenzel for the Back up job. I personally would like to see Krenzel manage a Highpowered NFL offense.
on the matter of palmer heh i just tried to look into that and theres nothing on it..... just a ton of speculation saying he could be he couldn't be? not totally definative answers..... but its hard to guess when hes only in the 2nd month of his 9 month rehab program..... also researched that one of there top priorities was to sign sage rosenfels but he fell to the texans and signed there.. tommy maddox i like the guy but he had one good year, craig krenzel is more of a manager than anything... not a top of the hill skills guy but if needed he might be able to help but i do believe he was in chicago and didn't do much when he was forced into action or maybe im thinking of preseason haha. Either way they need a competant backup with kitna gone if he decides to vacate that'll be a void they really need to get after balh why do i care? im a pitt fan haha.... however i DO hope that palmer will return to his prominence..... so good luck and godspeed to him! I do wish they'd inform us of how hes doing but they tend to keep it hush hush play it by ear....
The bengals and palmer have decided not to give any info on how his rehab is going... making it near impossible to know how hes doing
From: http://www.kffl.com/hotw/nfl Mark Curnutte, of the Cincinnati Enquirer, reports Cincinnati Bengals QB Carson Palmer (knee) said Wednesday, March 22, said he has extension back in his left leg and will be moving on to strengthen the leg. "Everything is going as scheduled and planned," Palmer said in his first interview since undergoing knee surgery to repair ACL and MCL tears in his left knee Jan. 10. "I'm just starting to get to the point where I can push weight around." Palmer said while he can't predict the future, he still expects to be the team's starting quarterback on opening day and play in the opening preseason game.
