Woah, I have to say this is the ultimate gamble, not in that by signing Webber he will make a team win the ship or not but in that he's could be a positive or COMPLETE WATE OF TIME AND MONEY, and we all know time is money so really it's a waste of money and more money. I think he will sign with Phoenix so he can chill with Jalen Rose on the bench.
He's the worst defensive player at his position. He has no Mobility. He isnt a big scoring threat. The only real value he has is his IQ and his passing skills.
Yeah I don't know how positive it could be. I like the guy and I think he's good, dunno though. I thought AI/Webber combo would be really good... didn't turn out that well though.

Man the old makeup for the 76ers is totally breaking up. They gonna have a whole new team besides maybe Igudala and Korver next season
<div class="quote_poster">Bahir Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">It will be a gamble for the one who gets him. Big contract+high injury risk.</div> As he's been bought out of his 40 million dollar contract he's not going to demand a big contract, he'll probably sign for the minimum with a champion caliber team. For those teams it's a pretty safe gamble, he could add something to an already good team.
Webber is going to be in high demand right now, what makes you think he will not try to get the best deal he can from a contending team. I think the bigger concern is how will he adapt to his new team. If he goes to an already strong team will he be alright with a greatly reduced role because he made in clear in Philly that he expected to be the #2 option behind AI
Sure he's going to try to get the best deal, but it will never be a big contract as none of the contenders is stupid enough to do that. IMHO the only way for him to get big bucks is to sign with the Knicks, as they have Isiah Thomas...
