"The Raptor" named Best Mascot in Professional Sports

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">If you want to see a creative, energetic and passionate mascot you are looking for the Raptor. Toronto's NBA mascots also brings more variety than anyone in the mascot business. As many struggling franchises find, having a reliably entertaining and popular mascot can help soothe the pain of a team that may not be as dependable.</div>

It's kind of random, but it confirms my theory of him being the best mascot in the NBA. On another note, Stephen Colbert apparently took offense that the Saginaw Spirit mascot was ranked below the Raptor, and dissed it and the organization on his show. I'll see if I can find the clip.

Yeah I saw that episode a few weeks ago... Colbert has got to be the funniest man on television right now.

I've always thought the Raptor was the most aesthetically pleasing of all mascots. His inflatable costume routine is genius though. Even though I've seen it plenty of times, I still get a kick out of it....

The last 2 games i've been to the Raptor did nothing. He didn't do his ballon shtick, and he didn't go down the stairs in a tobogan, and he didn't do any dunks....I think he might be injured or something.

Clutch is better. Clutch sticks cakes in the opposing fans faces, kisses hot girls, and some more crazy ish.

The other day... while the game was in play he got on the court and I think a Piston pointed to clutch and they had to stop the play to get him off the court.

    Knicks are a real team?
Apparently real teams don't have winning records either

I find the Raptor humorous, especially with that inflated suit.

Of course I was just kidding too... I don't really even notice mascots in any NBA game.

But I was expecting a shut down, especially from you. We sure had some heated debates over the years...

I saw Colbert Report, and Oshawa declared March 20th 2007, Colbert Day.

The Raptor said Colbert was on Notice and mocked the Speagle.
