It's a shame the pews were so empty.</div> don't you mean God picked up a key steal and weaved through 3 defenders for a game-sealing dunk with his offhand?

Congrats to all the Spurs fans thanks to David Stern you guys are in the Finals... How boring is another Spurs final is...
Not too boring, I like watching Duncan play. I still wish PHX made it, but now I am much calmer about that god-awful suspension. I hope the Cavs make it. Of course, they'd probably get swept or lose in 5, but I hope they make it over the Pistons.
Spurs aren't in the Finals.... they just won the championship. I don't know what you guys are seeing. Cavs and Pistons are fighting for the right to lose.

I'd rather the best team make it to the Finals (Pistons) than a team that will just get demolished and blown out 4 games straight (Cavs). As amazing as LeBron is, his team is just bad. The offensive system is bad. The coach is bad. They can barely score on the Pistons. I don't know how they're gonna score against the Spurs.
I'd laugh at a sweep in the finals. The NBA needs to lose a ton of cash, it's the only way they might possibly wake up and stop being so ass backwards.

If LeBron makes the Finals, the Spurs won't even break a sweat. Hell, if the Pistons make it, they might not break a sweat. I must say, though... I've never seen a playoff series marketed around a superstar as underwhelming as Pistons/Cavs. The Cavs are a joke... might have worse players around James than they did when he was first drafted. Didn't they have Boozer and Ricky Davis when he was drafted? I'm not a huge fan of either, but they're better than Gooden and Hughes. That team is moving backwards on it's superstar. They're just lucky that the east is so bad, it might trick him into thinking he's on a competitive team.
okay spurs arent getting these games handed to them. these guys have been around the league for a long time with a lot of hardware. they know how much they can do without going overboard. they know the intent of a guy like tim duncan. hes no firecracker. spurs to me are a boring team but you have to give them respect. they dont win because of the refs, they just have alot of skill. duncan is one of the best if not best PF of all time and popovich one of the best coaches of all time and the master of adjusments. there chamionships are not flukes or rigged games. they are skilled.
I still find it amusing that some of you Wade fans have now decided that ticky-tack fouls CAN be called in the playoffs.

<div class="quote_poster">NBA MAN Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">You just don't appreciate good basketball</div> Amen to that, all you guys whining about Spurs Pistons need to get your head checked. You're probably only into basketball cause it "looks cool". To you guys basketball is about what color your head band is and whose ankles you just broke. Go watch the And1 Mixtape tour while the real fans enjoy competition at its highest level. I am WAY more pumped about these finals than last years. Right now, there are only 3 possible scenarios: 1) Spurs cement their status as a dynasty and in my mind, edge past the 00-02 Lakers as the best team of this decade. 2) LeBron becomes the second coming and starts to make a run at MJ as best player of all time. (If Cavs can win it all, he has Definitely started a run at that is all i'm sayin) 3) Detroit gets REVENGE Any of those 3 scenarios would be insanely cool to see.
Just because Spurs/Pistons might be good basketball doesn't mean it's good for the NBA business wise, though. I myself wouldn't mind seeing Lebron and his cavs win it all, but that's just because I wouldn't want to see the spurs win another one . That being said, if the Pistons and Spurs do meet eachother in the finals, I'm not going to care if i happen to miss watching a game or four.
Lmao. Still Suns fans bitching and crying? How's the fishing? How many banners you got now? Look kid. You're from Canada first of all so obviously you don't understand 'fair'. Second, Spurs had the series going their way before the foul on Nash, and handed you that game from our own hands. Get all huffy puffy and blow your own **** down for a change.

They just tied the series 2-2. They were heading back to Phoenix in game 5, and without Stoudamire and Diaw the game was still close. Phoenix might have still lost with Amare and Diaw, but it was close until game 4, even game 5 was close.
