We could, but I think it is more fun if there are decent free agents sitting in the FA pool. When we got 20 guys or more, you can't do crap, at least not very often. So I felt we could do large FA depth + limited (but generous) amount of moves/trades.

Agreed, 20 is way too many teams, 12 seems good maybe a little more but with 20 the talent will be very scant and spread out.

I can't change the time because the time slots are all filled. So unless we do morning or we start the draft sooner (which would suck) we can't do much.

I'm in. Is there anyway we can move the draft to like early Friday afternoon or even sunday afternoon? Heck, I could even do it during the week. There is just no way I can do it on Saturday ( I will be out of town on a leadership retreat).

Draft dates are set so you'll have to pre-rank.

PM system is not working again.

Shape is right. There's just no way we can change the time without creating more conflicts. Mon-Fri all have available times during the wee hours of the morning and during the day when people are in school or at work. Then Saturday and Sunday time slots are all booked. So the draft time will have to be:

    Sat Oct 27 3:30pm PDT

Then we gotta know who is in and out. We got 13 right now. I can probably find some person interested.

Oh and if we can't do live draft how about find a co-manager to take on the live draft?

If we can't change the draft date then I guess I will have to pre-rank my players - that means I will probably end up with all guards or post players so i hope everyone will be up for trading - how many players can you pre-rank?

    Okay, I have a question:

We are in a heads-up-league which means that we play a different team every week. Now there are different categories (pts, assists, reb, stls, blcks, fg%, Ft%, 3pt %) etc.

Now, do you get a point for every category you win? (i.e. team a has a total of 300 points, team b has 296 points) so would team a get a point for the points category?

I take if its based on a point per category won, the team that wins the most categories will that particular week regardless of what categories they win?

Yeah, that's exactly correct, but beating your team isn't as important as just getting as winning as many categories as possible. A win in any category carries the same amount (+1 to the win column total). Points also determine the standings, so you want to win as many categories as possible per week. Thus, even if you're losing that week you want to try to win as many categories as you still can, because that's what matters if you want to get into the playoffs.

When you get to the playoffs, everything but your seed is wiped clean and you only need to get more categories than your opponent each round. Thus a lower seed can win with some good luck. But you need to win as many categories as you can to get there.
