Oy we suck so hard this year. Last year we were high up in the playoffs...this year, we'll be lucky to even make the 8th seed. The Rockets are playing like they don't really care if they win or not. So frusterating to watch...

This really doesn't surprise me. In the offseason, the Rockets were getting tons of hype because of all the "help" they received in the offseason. They were supposed to be upgraded to the rankings of Dallas/San Antonio/Phoenix, and I didn't buy into it in the past, and I sure as hell don't buy into it now. I remember reading a couple of articles back then saying how the Rockets are now title contenders. Although I didn't think the Rockets were a bad team at the time, they sure as hell weren't title contenders. Either way though, the Rockets have really disappointed. I didn't expect them to be a great team, but I expected them to at least be one of the more dangerous teams out west. So far into the season, they haven't shown anything. You can use the fact that they're still getting used to their new coach, and that it's still pretty early in the season, but time's running out. The season isn't even that young anymore, and by the 20 game mark, coaches and fans should be able to get sort of an understanding of how good their teams really are.

I'm just wondering if you guys are regretting getting rid of JVG. I remember him taking tons of heat back on JBB, but honestly, this Rick Adelmen hiring hasn't looked too good (at least for now). This was pretty much the same exact Sixers team the Rockets blew out by 50 last year

The irony is, the Rockets team is pretty much the exact same team as last year also. The coaching system is very much in question. Our offense hasn't improved at all (we are scoring about as much as last year) but our defense has taken a huge hit since Van Gundy left. I always liked Van Gundy and I wasn't too sure about the Rockets firing a known winning coach for one with a style much, much different...now I know why.

Well I don't know how much you can blame the management for the move. I mean, I know for a fact that a lot of Rocket fans didn't like JVG, or at least it seemed that way back on JBB. And when he was fired for Rick Adelmen, everyone seemed to be rejoicing. I still think this team can turn things around, but things definetely aren't looking too good

The lack of the heart of a champion confines T-macin the first round. Whenever the rocket needs him most, he will get injured. Whenever the rox had a x-game losing streak, he will pick a shitty team to return on the court. He became a hero of that game. I am seriously sick of it. He is one of the most talented player in the league. But his achievements are the worst. He is the tumor in this team. Say F to those execuses.Thisrocket team is too talented to have this poor record. By the way, Adelman's tolerence toward our primeter players are too big. Alston, t-mac, James, Head they waste tons of shot every single game. I am running out of patience!! cant take it anymore. A b-ball game cannot be ugly like this.

you beat me to the "ding, ding, ding", lol.....I didn't expect this team to be contenders but I at least was "hoping" that we could finally get out of the 1st round this year.........that won't happen.
