The guy is averaging 19.7ppg, 6.3rpg and 4apg and today he gave his team a much needed win. He deserves to go to NO.
I really haven't followed the magic much outside of what Dwight has been doing. Some pretty solid numbers for him...but I don't htink they'll end up sending him. Still pretty impressive regardless.
Hedo has had a great year, but he is not an All-Star player and should not get a ticket to New Orleans over the likes of Paul Pierce or Caron Butler. Richard Jefferson has been outstanding, as well. Then you've got other eastern conference SF's above him, such as Luol Deng, Gerald Wallace, Tayshaun Prince, Josh Smith, etc. Even Danny Granger is a more complete player than Hedo. Hedo is a good offensive player, but not an All-Star by any means.
I was watching a Magic game last year, and my roommate came into the room (he doesn't watch much basketball or follow), and he saw Hedo and said "that guy looks like his face melted", and now loves Hedo and calls him "melted face".
I think both Hedo and Jose Calderon deserve write ins. They are both so underrated and should be in the all-star game
I will not vote for Hedo in fear that he'll take Caron's spot. Caron definitely deserves a roster spot, despite Gilbert, Daniels, Pecherov, and Etan Thomas being out, he's leading the Wizards and we're currently 15-14. As long as Gil's out, he should be considered the franchise player and he's playing like it. Vote for Caron.
Hedo's been awesome. He's been the 2nd best player on that team behind Dwight. He's been a great all-around player -- He shoots, rebounds, defends, creates - he's probably been the best player on that team at feeding the ball to Dwight, and getting Dwight open. Me and my friend were talking about this recently (he's an Orlando fan), and he definitely deserves it.
he's had a good year, but I don't see how he gets in over Pierce and Butler (the starting forwards go without saying.)
