The thing that kills me is not the positioning of the ref (who was clearly out of position), nor is it that the res didn't talk it over and get it right, nor is it that the Warriors still had 2 time outs that they could've "called" as an inadvertent whistle.

What killed me is that the Refs said that Montay (120lbs wet) managed to plow over Fisher (One of the stongest PGs in the league) who is a notorious flopper or "savvy" player.

The good news is that the Warriors are a team that plays well with a chip on their shoulder. Look for them to go on a run here.

I don't have an issue you at all. WE have been past that for years it seems. I was pissed off after fisher getting away the night beforehacking both of B wrights arms off at the end of the half and no call, so very blatant and now this. I mean it was absolutely ridiculous and feeds right into everything i think about stern and the nba.
I certainly wasnt aiming anyting of my post at you other than stating that my emotions were on high and i was just as pissed as you were.

I think the NBA should adopt an NFL policy and review all calls in the last 2 minutes. 3 refs on the floor there is no way they all missed it as it happened right in front of them.

I was responding and admitted in the same post the rapist part was anger and ignorance.

And, for the record, i am well aware of the time out and Vitti attempting to close the mouse. But if you watch the game after Kobe comes back on the court about 2 plays later there is a close up of kobe with a trail of blood dripping down his cheek from the cut. I thought they would force the game to stop then and there to take care of it, unfortunately, they didnt and let them play on. I didnt understand it then or now. There was no stoppage of the game from the time they showed the close up with the blood dripping down and the end of the game.

I think he is guilty as sin and is a rapist and that is why he paid that chick off instead of going to court and letting the facts speak. He didnt want the public to learn what a scumbag, adulterer he is. And i am sure there are more facts of Kobe's life he wanted kept in the closet. So yeah I still and always will refer to Kobe as the Rapist (alledgedly) .....

Funny i dont remember JAx ever being accused of being a rapist why try to compare the two when you know damn well Kobe tried as hard as he could to get JAx's image with his fake commercials and his tats and all, Kobe would love to be thought of as street.

Kobe didn't make the girl drop her charges against him. A couple of questions get asked and then she asks the trial to dissolve.

If she was willing to drop the accusations for a monetary amount, that would reflect poorly on her anyway.

Worst way to end a game, ever. Worse than a shot after the buzzer, a non foul. A great game with the W's having a chance to win or tie and we get......nothing. Still, they had a 4 pt lead and lost it in OT.

Have to give some compliments to the Lakers (Kupchak) and Sasha Vujacic. He hit the biggest shot of the night when the W's were up by 4. He looked totally overmatched as a player the last 2 years and now he's confident and hitting big shots.

Warriors played well and split a B2B with the top West team, Gasol or not. Cannot complain.

Let it go, bro. There's a lot more things to worry about in life than Kobe Bryant's personal life.

That's cool, I just wasn't sure based on your post whether it was at me or alluding to your own comments. It's all good, though, either way. You didn't deserve to get flamed by the other poster, so I just made a mention of it like there's no need for him/her to get mad at you like that.

I think this sort of game might fire the Warriors up to 1.) hit their free throws. 2.) play to win rather than float around and settle for outside shots...

It was a great game, but I'm hoping Nelson will cut down on the starters minutes because they look gassed. It's probably one reason they wanted to take jumpers instead of working inside.

Not to get down on Baron again, but I just don't like high volume shooting point guards. We need to move the ball more. I'm also hoping that Baron Davis will eventually learn that early 3's are bad news for a non-shooter like him. If he's got to go with the clock winding down, I'd much rather have him step in if there's time on the clock to set his feet a little and a take college 2. I love 3's, but not early 3's and not after pounding the ball. 33% shooting is pushing it if you're taking more than 6 attempts a game. It's fine if the shot selections were 1/3 or 2/5 attempts, but he's often taking much, much more, which is just wasted posessions and fast breaks going the other way.

A good game for Baron IMO is when he's only having to take about 18 or less attempts per game. Anymore than that then he becomes like Allen Iverson back in his Sixers days, but without the trips to the foul line because he's too busy jacking up 6 or more three-point attempts. There's got to be a way to make it so the offense doesn't have Baron becoming a high volume shooter. He's just not the player you want to do that with. Now the Warriors do tend to stand around watching, so I'm not sure if it's even Baron's fault for playing the way he plays. Plus, Nelson seems to be set on playing 6 players in heavy minutes, so Baron is having to take the shots for the two players that would have been in a normal 8 man rotation. If we ever get to the playoffs, I bet we'll be expecting more of the same stuff where we play only 6 guys and wear them down.

I love Baron, he's a smart player that takes an awful lot of risks. But that risk is super high. I think Nelson is just as risky when he plays certain guys and leaves in some guys too long. He should be developing some of the rooks so we at least have some players to use should we make the playoffs. With our depth, we'll be lucky to make the playoffs.

Well, I don't have much more to add to the games other than the fact that Biedrins got absolutely destroyed in both games. If he somehow could've played his normal game the outcome might've been different.

That made me laugh as well. The Razor would've drilled him over and over on every aspect of that call. Something tells me that Delaney's book isn't going to sell too well in these parts.

IMO if he would have come on the radio and just said "yeah, after looking at it I know I made a bad call" he would have been forgiven for the most part. Hes a good ref IMO (and I fucking HATE refs), just made a very bad call there and got no support from his crew.
