Hedon't Turkoglu and Wince Quitter were traded for each other. Orlando did an overhaul today sending Lewis to Washington for Arenas then trading Carter, Pietrus, Gortat, cash and a pick to Phoenix for Richardson, Turkoglu, and Earl Clark. The Magic now have a lot of guaranteed money heading into a lockout season. Phoenix on the other hand seem to be all about liquid assets. As far as I understand Carter's last season on his deal (next year) isn't guaranteed so the Suns can drop him. Nash's team is basically in tank mode so despite the Suns' instance they won't trade him, it seems Nash is more available now than ever. Orlando reacquires Hedo and dumps Carter a year after letting Hedo walk and acquiring Carter, undoing an obvious mistake.
Howard complains that his wings (Carter & Lewis) don't defend and like a week later both of them are gone. Howard is now the GM of the Magic.
Arenas and JRich are so much better at defense than Lewis & Carter right? And Hedo is just a fucking juggernaut on the perimeter. Teams are gonna score more than ever.
