Latest News Regarding the 76ers from an Inside Source close to the organization.<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>ready to be depressed? here is a recap of the latest No interest in Reggie Evans....... we actually called MIL weeks ago to see if they had interest in a dalembert for magliore deal and they laughed at us. They dont want the sammy contract when they can just let magliore walk end of year. We dont have any other contracts we can give them to match up that are close to ending...so no dice there. Forget free agency.....Will not sign anyone noteworthy other than maybe Steven Smith....any additions are by trade unless some vet big wants a minimum contract for 1 year closer to training camp. I asked like who.....and he said we talked to the agents Lonny Baxter and Alan Henderson among others about getting in touch with us if they havent found a home yet in September as camp nears. Overall da brass is very happy with the coming out party during the summer league of Lou Will. However, worried about Louis Williams turnovers in summer league....want him to focus on slowing down the game...making smart passes....they think he can be a star in a few years.......good kid etc season ticket plans for 2006-2007 season are projected to be at a 10 year low...... nothing going on with boston......denver is the only active trade talk right now for AI...and it aint real close(though still talking daily) In our talks with denver........we would only take on camby if they took dalembert.....otherwise..we want a 3 team trade..... Any trade we do with any team...we have to get less or the same years back on the deals on the players we receive or else...we wont do it.(its about friggin time..now lets stop the 5 year deals for our own free agents) If AI stays(which looks more likely by the day), BK is gonna try and move Dalembert seperately for a useable big. BK has been trying to package AI and Sammy together in deals recently..but not having any luck.(obviously) We suck(thats my dialogue......not his of course) tomorrow before 5 is the next attempted chat with him....................who needs a beer after that sad report....I do.</div>sigh....

Pft..I'd LOVE to get Ridnour, kid's a pure pointguard and we wouldn't need a 1 to bring the scoring load if we can get Rashard here too...

Latest Info<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>guys.........my buddy called me and basically said he didnt have much to give me....he hasnt really talked to anyone all day..... i asked if i could ask him a few questions....and he said give it a shot...and if he didnt know the answer he will try to get it on monday.I asked about the salmons situation...he called it weird...and it wasnt the sixers that backed out. they dont want salmons here so it would make no sense for us to stop a deal where we get a 2nd rounder for free. But til he talks to everyone..he doesnt know if it was salmons or toronto that is stalling...he still thinks salmons eventually goes to toronto after this delay.I told him Chris Sheridan said BK talked to him yesterday and he said he isnt trading Iverson....my buddy's response was.....well not unless someone gives us a realistic offer..he says the i am not trading AI stance is still a front so we dont appear desperate... .i said what about denver........he said....they are the only thing possible right now....he thinks its 60-40 that AI is back... I said if that happens..what about Chris Ford? he says the plan is that he stays in his current role of scout/advisor if AI is here...becomes assistant coach if he AI is traded.I said what about any of the players we talked about before....he said he thinks JWill wont happen even if we deal AI. He is positive that we will get a PG in an AI deal if we trade him..and even if we didnt.......Jay Williams wants more than the minimum and the max we could offer him is a 1 or 2 year min deal. A team that is willing to spend part of its MLE or has cap room outright will probably be the new home of JWill. He said he heard the Bucks were a possibility.i said..predict the rest of the offseason based off the what he knows...he said...signing steven smith and alan henderson and trading dalembert for a center with less years on his contract. he hopes he is wrong....but thats his gut feel. Just an fyi..my buddy isnt a big AI fan.He hopes to get some dirt from the summer league trip on Monday..........when he sees some of the folks in person...he said he will fill me in on Monday.Sorry its not more uplifting...but hey...its BK.......................................maybe next week will be more promising</div>Tada!

i have a question. If some of you would do Ridnour/Lewis for AI, why would you turn down Wally/Telfair/Green?

Telfair I think people think he can be more then he will be. Green I kinda like even though I only see him play a few minutes.I would do the Seatle deal, because I really like Lewis.

everyone always seems to underrate WallyWorld. Why do i always have to tell people that he brings more to the table than just shooting. And if you don't want Wally bc he's a better version of Korver, then why would you want Lewis, who is a better version of Carney?

And Lewis is way better then Carney so there ya go.
