I don't think it's over yet, by any means. Ducks are still ranked in the AP top 25, still tied atop the conference standings (with the tie-breaker), and are probably a lock for the tourney assuming they don't completely tank the final two weeks of their season. I'm quite pleased with the way have gone so far this year.
Pretty much means a split Pac-12 title between UCLA and Oregon. That should make the Buffaloes a lock for the tournament though.
Ducks land 6'6 juco star Elgin Cook who has 3 years of eligibility left but has already used his Redshirt season. His Dad was NBA defensive stud Alvin Robinson http://www.oregonlive.com/ducks/index.ssf/2013/03/ducks_get_commitment_from_juni.html STOMP
Ducks are getting badly out-physicaled by the Dawgs tonight. If they don't figure out a way to up their intensity in these final 8 minutes, they're going to lose their first tourney game. I think they're going to be lucky to get a single-digit seed in the big dance.
I came home with 4 minutes to go in regulation. Wish I came home about 20 minutes later. UW cannot finish games and I think I'm finally on the fire Romar bandwagon. Good luck against Utah. Pac 10 > Pac 12 any day of the week!
I've never thought of Romar as a good coach. Great recruiter, not a good coach. Plus, he's a pussy for bailing out on the Gonzaga series.
Congrats to the Ducks. Best game they have played in awhile. Be interesting to see what happens with the Tourney.
While I agree with you I think they have an overall good resume and may get as high as a 6. However, I wouldn't be surprised to see them as a 9.
