Rick, I saw the post you made on the 1903 board calling out Totus...just so you'll know, I responded to let you know that it wasn't the real totus...it was an imposter doing that crap on the espn board...they've aped the screen names of totus, me, and messiah, as well as others.
They were actually offended when I called them mental midgets. As it turns out they're just complete losers. The fact that they turned this into some sort of contest, made it personal, spoof other screen names and create a bunch of fake screen names in general shows you the level and childishness being dealt with. I'd rather not post at all than deal with those idiots.
what I don't get about the ESPN boards... well, many things, but this one thing... Someone posted a thread saying that ALL the regs went to reddit... I responded saying a lot came over here too... well, my comment was zapped, and his was left up... I don't get it...
Because the children posting over there about reddit are flagging your posts. So in other words if you want to go to a board and deal with the same crap that made ESPN annoying go to reddit.

I just don't understand it. Why? They turned it into some sort of contest from day one. Post at whatever board you want and who cares. They seem to have this thing about where more regulars are. It doesn't matter.
I made a few posts over there but its frustrating as all hell to find them again because they get lost in the middle of all the others. EXAMPLE: If there are 20 posts responding to a thread & you reply to say the 10th response all it says is reply (Not quote) so your reply stays under post #10. So its lost in the middle. Its really a stupid format. Whoever designed it really didn't give it a whole lot of thought. And since there site is YANKEES ONLY don't be surprised if you see them pop over here when all the other sports start up.
Damn first Bern baby bern today & now you. Welcome aboard long time no hear. I know several are on another site now that is strickly Yankees. I think its something hoopla. But once the other sports start up I've no doubt the'll come here because this site offers them all. Hope you stick around.
hammer posted a link on the espn boards. I figured even though I'm mostly a lurker these days, I better figure out where everyone is going before the espn boards close down. I'm not into the whole yankees fan only type of boards. I like the interaction with fans of other teams, even if it involves putting up with trolls.
Then without sounding like a salesman this is probably where you want to be. Keep in mind though that right now because of the time of the season the other boards have little or no activity. But like I said, once the seasons start I'm sure the'll liven up. BTW: Hammer is going to be the MOD of I believe the Devils board. And I think they're looking for MODS for some of the other boards. Jets, Giants, Knicks, etc. If you're interested. Also this site is pretty easy to figure out but if you have any questions just ask away.
Yep, easy to figure out so far. No questions. I have always used other boards for my other teams (Giants, Knicks and Islanders) as the espn boards always seemed useless, but I'll lurk around there when those seasons start to get a feel.
