1) Aldridge and Lillard are shooting terribly. Lillard's percentage in the paint must be God awful.

2) We're not putting teams away. We need blowouts like Clips got yesterday and Spurs got tonight.

3) Our bench is still pretty bad. Mo Williams hides a lot of its flaws. Without him, they were pretty useless which is of course responsible for #2. CJ McCollum couldn't come back soon enough. And if Noah or Asik can be had for our scrubs, it would be a good deal.

Nobody even got ejected today

FUCKING LOSERS

4.) LA shoots too many long jumpers

5.) Batum is still too passive

6.) Mathews can't dribble

I'm wondering when Lillard will finally start getting fouls at the rim. There isn't a PG in the league that can stop him from getting in the paint, then he gets bumped at the rim more often than not. Maybe if the team keeps winning, he'll start to get the superstar calls.

I agree that he should be getting more calls, but I'd say it's on him as well. He simply does not go up strong unless he's going to try to dunk. He needs to work on it if he really wants to be an elite PG.

We are not for real because we cant beat teams that are for real until we do and then they aren't for real anymore

He's gotta yell, Roy style

Batum executes crafty pick and rolls with Lopez... and usually throws the ball at his toes.

He's already an elite PG.

He tries to go around the defenders a lot instead of going through them when they are reaching over his head. He should try to elevate like he's trying to dunk more often, and power through any arms that might be reaching over him to force the ref to make a call. Especially if he has a defender in the restricted area. I noticed that Rose the other night on his drives was really jumping high when he went to the basket and that made it easier for him to get his shot off. Of course Rose is a little bit better athlete than Dame so it probably is easier for him to do that. Maybe Dame burns all his juice just getting into the paint and can't elevate unless he has a clear lane to go for a dunk. I'm liking Dame's work on the floater. I think that's a shot he could really make use of.

We have played shit competition.

/thread.

nvm I was way behind for this one.

Of course, Rose blows his knees out by taking it hard to the rim every time, and still didn't get FT calls this year before he yet again go injured.

Every thread here ends up negative to some degree, so I consider this a troll thread, and will try to debate the negativity.

Hahahahaha yeah his knees are likely paying for it. I just want Dame to master the floater. Works for Tony Parker.

OK.

Tell me how Lillard isn't an elite PG this season, with more than a meme.

My definition of elite is probably different than yours. I wouldn't call him elite unless he's top 10% among starters at his position, ie, one of the 3 best. This season, I would easily put Paul, Parker and Curry ahead of him.

I think it shows just how great this team can be. All these problems and we're 13-2?!? It's scary to think we can get even better.

Lillard. It would be nice to see him stop and pop that little 12 footer. Also, he often steps back away from his defender to shoot a three pointer several feet behind the arc when he could easily pump and go up drawing more fouls. Over time, that would also force his defender to step back allowing him 3pt's at the arc instead of behind. I'm fine with him avoiding contact inside, let's keep him healthy.

Wes. He believes he can will himself to greatness. When his shot is falling this is great, but when it's not it can be a problem. But I'd much rather this be the problem than an outlaw who lacks confidence. Love how he bodies on D, it. Takes a lot out of his opponents by the fourth.

Batum. Just too passive, but a lot of that is also just how it looks because he is so damn smooth everything he does seems effortless.

LaMarcus. I hot no beef except his shooting is off a tad. Time will take care of that.

Lopez. He's not as sexy as Myers Leonard. Lopez is doing great and really improving. At just 25, I think he could end up a better Offensive Przybilla.
