I think Earl would fill that role as well, without making any moves. He may not be quite as good as Miller in terms of passing, but he is close enough. He also fits our need as a ball hawk defender against PG's. Neither he nor Andre are great outside shooters.... so that is a wash. Right now Terry does not want to screw up the roll we are on, and rightfully so. But he has that option of a Watson/Mo backcourt if he chooses. I don't even want to discuss where CJ fits until we know CJ is completely healthy.
a man appears, nervously sweating and shaking uncontrollably with rage and confusion. His voice cracks as he screams, "EVERYONE CALM THE FUCK DOWN!" before collapsing in a whimpering exasperated heap, mind still racing with nowhere to go THE END
Sorry, but no. The name Andre Miller was mentioned and suddenly three or four of you start getting worked up about making trades and messing with chemistry. Nobody proposed a trade. Nobody mentioned trading Mo Williams. I said I'd love to have him on this team, and I think he'd make our second unit better. Nik said he'd look at acquiring Miller if the team hit a rough patch. This isn't even a thread about trades or players on other teams. Also, no caps were used when telling you to calm the fuck down. The End. <----- no caps.
You compared a trade that nobody actually proposed, Mo Williams for Andre Miller, with trading Aldridge for crap and draft picks. This riled up Mags, which isn't hard to do these days.
everyone listen up! there are some new rules around here first off EVERYBODY CALM THE FUCK DOWN secondly, and pay attention...PAY ATTENTION. in closing, dont forget
Nic's minutes are down from 38.5 MPG last year to 35.8 MPG this year. That may not seem like much, but it's actually quite substantial. Last year, he was 5th in the league in MPG. This year, he's not even in the top 20. And, the reason his minutes are down is Dorell Wright is an adequate back-up. Wright may not be hitting his shots right now, but he's still having a positive impact. His Net Production is +4.0 (Own Production = 14.7, Opponents' Production = 10.7). His defense has been good - which is a HUGE improvement over anyone we had coming off the bench last year. And, once his shot start falling, he'll have an even greater impact. BNM
bench has been great, or maybe we were just reverse spoiled from last year. either way, perception seems to match reality at this juncture
I don't think I'd say the bench has been great. I think it's been much better than last season, but it really wouldn't take much to be vastly better than last season. We have a good bench, but not a great bench, and I think that's what some people feel will hold us back in the playoffs. Of course, CJ could make a huge difference when he comes back, so it's hard to adequately judge our bench until CJ is back.
Like when you said "Fire Stotts" on one of the game threads? That type of calm? Or maybe when you said "I will ban you!" to me because I said the game is over? Pot calling kettle something… I forget, you mind filling me in? Ore maybe this? Regardless of what you think you have over me, you aren't one to talk. You've been so riled up in so many accounts all throughout this forum. Sorry to point out the obvious.
Dude I was joking. Did you really think I would ban you over trying to jinx us? Yup, I said fire Stotts because I was pissed at him in the midst of losing a 20 point lead. Deal with it. That's a damn sight different than the three of you getting worked up over something that was never actually said. Would I trade Mo for Miller? Not right now. Maybe when CJ comes back and if he plays as well as some of us think he will. Mo will become obsolete with CJ in the rotation.
Um…. I didn't need to deal with it then, I don't need to deal with it now. I thought it was funny only… I'm just thinking you aren't one to talk about "Calming the fuck down". That's all man.
