After the 1st year of a dog's life it has effectively gone through puberty. A year old dog is probably around 15. It averages out to 7 over the dog's lifetime.

CJ could help this team in a lot of ways, he will be another option if we need a scoring punch off the bench. He could give our starters more rest on back to backs. He provides insurance if there is an injury to any of Dam/Wes/Nic/Mo/Wright. It could be hard for him to find minutes when he first gets back but he will get chances at some point this season.

I'm just excited to see McCollum play. He will likely be our last lottery pick in a while, so it's going to be interesting to see what he can bring to our team.

The bench is perfect for undersized shooting guards. CJ could be the perfect spark off the bench. We need a consistent scorer. Mo is definitely not a consistent scorer for us right now.

I'm hoping he has better court vision to use his handle to either pull up and score or pass to open teammates better than Mo. Last night, again, Mo held the ball for an eternity while an open teammate was right there, begging for the ball. By the time he finally threw the pass, it was too late, we ended up not scoring, and the Pels did. Mo's poor decision making and ball hogging has real consequences that don't always show up in the box score.

I definitely agree! It's no secret that Mo is not being very consistent. Cj could really help fill that spot on the bench for a smart guard to make the right pass. Unless Mo can step up his game and be consistent, i think he can kiss quite a few of his minutes goodbye as they will be rewarded to Cj Mcollum if he is what he is expected to be.

Remember CJ is a complete rookie and has a learning curve like any rookie.

Less of a learning curve as a 4 year college guy.

I can't wait until he replaces Mo in the rotation, at least for those minutes that Mo considers himself the primary ballhandler.

Then I choose for him to have Lillard's learning curve.

Mo did not practice today and will be re-evaluated on Wednesday.

Freeman has a quote where Damian said CJ looked great in practice and athletic off his ankle. Could he fill in for Mo on Thursday if need be?

Seems awfully quick to throw the kid into the fire. I imagine he could play a few minutes, but Mo currently logs something around 25 minutes per game. I sincerely doubt that CJ is ready for that kind of burn.

    Why didn't Mo practice?

Canzano said that he was limping badly after the last game, and that he hurt his hip.

Remember when he committed that silly foul in the backcourt? He did it because he was hurt.

Baldy tossed it out in his last article about how Mo was limping really bad in the tunnel after the game. That's about as much as I've heard though.

Well if he is cleared for full contact medically, which it sounds like he was last week, and the staff thinks he is the best option I say through him out there. Wright could play the majority of Mo's minutes at the 2. CJ would mostly just need to bring the ball up the court when Damian is out of the game. Play him with Batum if he needs help setting up the offense.

I would love to see him on the court. I wouldn't mind seeing Crabbe in the main rotation a little bit either.
