You also have to factor is Canadia...what else are they going to spend their silly looking money on? I mean there is only so much poutine you can eat...and while I'm sure they serve it in the arena I dont think at 400 bucks a pop they are going to sell much concessions. Side note, I heard the Toronto GM swore in pep rally to his team and then apologized for it....I hear the Government there is going to fine him cause he didn't do it in both English and French.
I find myself in this situation a lot. Had planned on taking my wife to game one and my son to game two. Before going to any game I always show them what tickets are going for and whether they would rather do something else with the money. Already sold extra tickets for crazy money and am betting they choose to do something other than the games.
It looks like hey lowered prices, interesting! I've kept tabs on ticket sales and they seemed very slow. They have picked up,and now it seems like there are few seats left on the blazers site. But within the past week they lowered the pricing on some seats by up to 100$. I wonder if they were worried it wouldn't sell out? There are still a ton of tickets on stubhub....
Playoff tickets are way too expensive: I split season tickets with someone else. I don't have tickets to game 6 and am so caught up in Blazer playoff fever I brought some "pre-sale" in the 200 section for $600 (twice the cost of my season ticket playoff tickets). They seem really high at the time and still do. I am really hoping Blazers don't go to game 6 (sweeeep) so I can avoid that purchase. Not surprised they are lowering tickets. I'm a sucker for Blazer tickets and even I am regretting that pre-sale purchase. No way I can sell those for $600
I'm quite happy and comfortable watching the games from home, given ticket prices and concessions. But I'm just as happy going to the games if/when someone gives me free tickets.
This. I actually get more out of watching the game on TV. Going is fun, but if I really want to watch a game, TV is the way to go.
I'm looking forward to all of the games, but game 3, on a Friday night, 7:30PM, at the Rose Garden? Yeah, booiiii. BBQ, beverages, and a game in the theater room. Yes, PLEASE!
It's not a bad idea. Except it's still the people of S2. Though, it's a good way to start making some money so I can buy the new projector I want (wifey says I need to sell ish on CL or what not to pay for something she totally deems unnecessary. WTF?).
Nah, man. Learn how the woman works. You sell her shit, she buys even more. Selling used, then having her buy new, is a losing proposition.
I see a lot of silly prices there. Posted my season seats and MGB's for reasonable (close to what the Blazers charge) prices. Sold all of them except for MGB's for Sunday.
Even though people are paying me so much for my tickets that I can't afford not to sell them, I still want us to sweep even though that means less tickets to sell . . . What a fan, eh?
