Imagine if those guys were actually hitting?

They actually tried. Aldridge catches the ball so far away from the post it takes too long to double. And cause we're such good shooters, a lot of the guys are hesitant to double.
 
I think they'll need to shoot better because we can't expect LA to make 80% of his turn around jumpers every game.
 
Good point. It's amazing that we can beat a team with Howard and Harden when some of our main guys are shooting so poorly.
 
Blazers proved in the first two months that if you double you pick your poison. Die by la, or die by the 3.
 
Miami is my only fear now. If any other eastern team makes it we'll win in 5. God damnit im flying into portland tuesday and ill have to fly back for finals. I might go to miami on the road its only an 8 hour drive or so from here.
 
Let's not get carried away. Houston doesn't have the mental composure to withstand the runs Portland has put on them. San Antonio if we get to the next round does have that composure.
 
Dame just said the same thing in his presser. We've done a lot of things well, but what's encouraging is there are a lot of things where we can improve greatly.

While those three haven't shot well, LMA has been out of his mind. Things will even out.

Not only that, but he was going up so quick sometimes that they didn't even have a chance to double. McHale said so himself on the TNT broadcast, and seemed totally flabbergasted, floundered, and frustrated.

I feel like part of the reason Batum and Wes haven't shot well is because they're working so hard to shut down Harden. Wesley especially has frustrated the hell out of Harden.

Leave the humility to our players. Im going to smugly say we match up great with spurs and can take them in 5-6.
 
Who's scarier DAL or SA? Dallas is always really good at doubling LA.

SA seems scarier on paper. So much experience and a system that you can plug other guys in and stay on the same level. They keep getting it done. We match up with them pretty well, though. When we win this series, I hope theirs goes seven games so we can rest and prepare. I think we have a fantastic shot against either team.
 
this team can be scary good. its nice to see these first two wins ON the road. But yes, lets see some consistency from everyone else and see what this team really has. I strongly feel they can be clicking at the right time to make a serious run at this. So exciting!

In the playoffs, shooting percentages always go down. The difference between stars and other starters is always magnified.
