LA. As he goes. So does the team. When he plays with an edge. So does his team. He's not the same player this series as was last. To me he is playing satisfied. But it could be just a real lack of belief on his part.
McHale is a horrible coach. I don't think Terry is horrible, but I also do not think he's a championship caliber coach. I pretty much said that when we hired him. I think he's a place holder. I think eventually this team will need to hire someone that can go the distance, and I don't think that's Terry Stotts.
Not disappointed with Dame. He is just a young kid and he is learning a ton right now. I think his heart is in it. Can't say the same about his teammate.
Dame got 19, 5, and 5 on 40% shooting. His problem right now is that he can't hit a three. He was 1-6 from downtown. That's not a bad line. It's just not superhuman like he was doing against Houston.
I don't put this on Stotts. Yes, he could probably be doing better. But I think it's more on the players mindsets right from game one.
LMA. He starts to turn it on when the game is out of reach. PNR defense is nonexistent. POP is the GOAT.
Okay, so I watch the game on mute... did I miss something? Why is everyone all okay with Mo playing like shit?
LaMarcus' turn around fade away is like the 3pt shot. Great when it's going down and sucks when it's not. Too bad he's not a consitantly efficient scorer.
Earlier this season there were threads criticizing Aldridge. His defenders cited stats to say that he's the best PF in the league. I said that he gets most stats in the non-pressure moments of the game, when it's not close and the defense on him eases.
I'm not okay with it... I've just come to expect it. He was shit against Houston, he was shit during the regular season, and he's shit now.
