Brooklyn? This must be the 1st anniversary of the 1st time a Summer League coach ever got a technical foul. Jason Kidd is the trophy-holder. What a rookie.
I thought he played well in those limited minutes. No he did not shoot the long ball very well, but he can play. Probably for someone else but he is no bust.
No it doesn't. The Summer league record doesn't mean shit if you are using it to experiment with players. (i.e trying to feature Pendergraph as a go to scorer.......or to see if CJ is a point guard. ) In reality all it showed was that Pendergraph shooting iwas not his best feature and that CJ is a SG. But if you are experimenting with PG's who won't be part of your reg season team, it will not give a clear picture of how effective the others player on the team will be with a real PG. Its like judging a RB playing with a back up OL.
Clavier actually played very well as a backup center. He can't shoot good enough to be a stretch 4 and he's to slow to guard SF so I'm not sure there's an NBA position for him. He has a lot of good all around skills.
Neither team can make a shot in the 3rd quarter. Steven Adams plays tough just like the other players. He is our dream for what Meyers Leonard will be in 10 years.
Napier makes great passes. His 3s are close to going in. His 2s are mostly going in in this game. He just made a 3 as I typed that!
