A package deal? You mean no Florida for him right? Or is he convincing CeCe to come up to Eugene?

Maybe the package deal he turned down was only cash, cars and broads (ok, Minstrel, come and edit as I have disagreed with your f'ing personal philosophy). Maybe as part of the package he also wants a private plane. I know some SEC team will do that.

Not sure what the minstrel comment is about. But please don't bring unnecessary drama into this thread. Thanks.

Adonis Thomas to take an official to Eugene. Don't think Pruitt will let him go though.

Marcus Lewis has us in his top 3 alongside Michigan and Miami. Michigan is gonna get him me thinks

Keisean Lucier-South lists the Ducks in his top 5. Per his twitter (no order)...Florida, Michigan, Oklahoma, Oregon, UCLA

It's Michigan and ucla for him, unless both schools flop badly. He grew up a Michigan fan, and ucla is the home town school as produced Barr and Myles Jack.

Still, we could pitch KSL+Cowart.

It wouldn't surprise me if Keisean doesn't know who Cowart is. Luckily Oregon has better things going for them in this race then some package longshot. Like that he "really really likes Oregon" & speaks to Duck coaches almost daily. That they win more then UCLA or Michigan & have winning streaks going against both schools. That the starter at his projected position is graduating & the previous guy at that spot went #3 in the draft. That he's looking to set up an OV to see the premier program on the West Coast up close & personal.

If he trips to Eugene this fall, I like Oregon's chances

Jc dt. Ulric jones has stated if we offeelr he willcommit to us. I think if things fall through maybe offer in janurary.

Will he committ if we wait that long?

If its where you truly want to play, kids have done so before. We offered a TON of QB's before Travis Waller finally got his and committed soon after. So it happens... but I wouldnt blame a kid one bit for going elsewhere, and not wanting to be someone's plan D (at any school, not just in this case)

I guess I was asking as we're hitting recruits earlier and getting great results. Or so I have been reading.

And the allure of playing alongside Cowart? Methinks that may help...

Also, I take back everything I said about not having Trey L commit. The guy is a friggin head case at LSU. And lets offer Ulric already people. Chop chop.

Also, I'm hearing an Arkansas player is interested in us?

I can't believe we are in the mix for Sweat. Have Cowart and him together? Ohhhhhhhb

Good news everyone. Next year we are in good standing with Seth Green, and if we offer Shea Patterson we would be heavily considered.

Not sure I'm buying this. This could be a recruits way of seeing if this fan base will trash him if this chum goes into the water. Oregon fans should be classy and not say a word.....

CBs on Kaumatule are going Oregon's way

get hype

Old newsish posted on this awhile ago.

Sorry for being a slowpoke. I didn't mean it :(

Still, if we can somehow get Kaumatule, Cowart, and possibly KSL, our D will be set. If we don't get KSL, Cumberlander or Hunt would be fine too.

SoCal DT Rasheem Green names Oregon among the 5 schools (Oregon, Stanford, Oklahoma, Alabama, Miami) that he plans to take OVs to this fall

It always warms my heart to see us listed with schools like those.

the seemingly never-ending saga of DT Ratu Mafileo has ended. Via twitter he announced he'll be attending a California JC (College of San Mateo)

I'm guessing we can thank Gottfredson for this, too, just as Kasongo and Lyle in basketball.
